Acme Barber Shop

"Was told to book an appointment online and did exactly that. After a 30 minute walk in the rain i was informed that I used the wrong method of online booking and they wouldn't be able to cut my hair. They had very poor attitudes and showed no regard or remorse for the fact that I was turned away for service. Not to mention when I spoke to them on the phone they simply told me to schedule an appointment online and made no mention of there being a faulty booking system I should avoid. After a 30 minute walk in the rain I would have been perfectly happy with quick clean up cut, as opposed to a full haircut. Was offered absolutely nothing but a sorry incompetent excuse and sent on my way by 2 barbers who seemed like they could care less about turning me away. I did nothing wrong and only followed the instructions that they gave me."

"Been coming here for a couple of years now and Charles consistently gives me great haircuts. He also gave me great suggestions whenever I wanted to switch things up. So happy I found a great barber in Seattle!"

"I was able to do a walk in haircut here. Vinny offered to to the haircut and was a nice dude. He listened to my request and was appreciative that I had a sample photo on my phone with the look I was going for. Haircut turned out good. I usually go to the cheaper haircut places to avoid city prices but this barbershop is worth the price."

"I’ve come here for a haircut twice. Both of them with Vinny. The first time he was rude but gave a great haircut. By the end of it I thanked him for the haircut and give him an 18% tip. I apologized for booking it at the last time slot available online and he told me, “whatever, it’s not like I could deny it.” I thought huh whatever maybe he was having a bad day. So I booked with him a second time and I’ve gotta say it was just a bad haircut. Hence the bad review. Still again because I’m decent I tipped 18% tip. Both times he cut my hair he was really quiet, didn’t engage at all, and had a bad attitude. The real burn of it all was hearing other barbers engage with their clients and really ask what they wanted and gave suggestions. I can confidently say I will never book with him again and might have to reconsider suggesting ACME to my friends, colleagues, and clients. He was also very aggressive and cut both my face and neck quite a few times. Is this the level of professionalism people should come to expect when coming here? Just want to say I edited my review to say that the barber was Vinny."

"What an awesome experience we had at Acme Barber Shop! The shop is very clean with an interior design specifically intended to have that iconic 1950s or 1960s feel to it. The building housing the barber shop sits atop Capitol Hill, which gives clients an almost bird's-eye view of Seattle's skyline. The barbers (in our case Elijah) are very friendly and respectful. To sum it all up, it was worth the time, tips and what have you. We'll definitely be back there again!"
