"Went in for some scratchers with my little brother and was rudely told to get away from the counter. I was simply standing there to see what scratchers were available. The register I was near was not being used but I apologized to the cashier and my brother and I stepped back. My brother tripped over a wet floor sign that had fallen down and the cashier yelled across the counter for him to pick it up. Due to the cashiers rude attitude, my brother refused, saying that he didn’t knock it over. I had back surgery and was unable to bend down and pick it up. The cashier then told us he did not want to deal with us and proceeded to ring up all the other customers. Believe it or not, this was the positive part! I was able to witness him being rude to two Hispanic men, yet very friendly with a white woman. I waited patiently for him to finish. He said his name is James so I introduced myself also. His response was again combative, telling me not to talk to him like that. I was born and raised in Hawaii and also lived in Oregon so encountering unfriendly people is a rarity. James was definitely an unpleasant experience."

"I am in awe for the amount of customer service reviews that says the staff is friendly. The attitude I received coming in in the first 10 seconds made me walk right back out."

"EDIT: The person who hung up on me reached out and apologized for it. This storm on top of the last year has us all at the end of our ropes, and sometimes that shows through. He's a good guy and I changed my review to reflect that. I have been going here almost daily since they opened. I called today to see if they were open since it’s been Snowpacalypse 2021 and a lot of businesses haven’t been able to get staff in. We needed a few supplies but I didn’t want to walk a mile in snow/ice before knowing they’re open. I called, and was immediately hung up on. No biggie, thought perhaps the phone didn’t go through. Tried again and this time he answers and curtly says “Yes! We’re open until 10!” and then hung up. I get it, receiving a lot of phone calls can be annoying. But so is having no power and no way to get out of our neighborhood to get necessary supplies. So sorry to be a problem. Don’t worry, I won’t bother you with my money anymore."

"The staff is friendly, prices fair. The store reminds me of the convenience store that Bubbles opened in the trailer park on Trailer Park Boys. They sell chicken strips and beer. One complaint... If you're going to sell coffee. Actually make coffee. It's always empty and the employee told me they make one pot a day and leave it till it's empty. That's gross. Plus no creamer or sugar. Maybe stop offering coffee?"

"Perfectly good convince store, happy to have one close by. But I can't stand going in there due to the smell of their fryer, now normally delicious fried chicken is a great smell, but there is seriously something wrong with their ventilation hood over their fryer, just stepping foot through the door is enough to make your clothes stink like a minimum wage fry cooks after an 8 hour shift."
