"We were lucky to find Ms. Dell when I needed someone to take over my kiddo's hair care last year. We had a pleasant initial conversation and opted to meet F2F to ensure we were a good fit for one another. I took the opportunity here to ask about her programs, policies, and prices. She is cash-only, so I was prepared for how she wants services paid for. Ms. Dell has a no-nonsense style and is more direct than people are maybe use to, but she is very professional and is great at her craft. My kiddo had a traumatic experience getting her hair done at another stylist before her, and Ms. Dell was very considerate of this fact and is sensitive to my kiddo's needs and level of comfort. My kiddo sees her every 2-ish weeks and looks forward to coming in and spending time with her beyond just having her hair cared for. If only I could tell you the number of times my kiddo has received hair-related compliments! So glad we found her and I wish I could have engaged her services sooner!"

"Dell seems to be a great person and seems to really know hair, but I was mortified at the customer service I received and the way she runs her business. I scheduled myself and my two daughters for a root touch up and two trims, and when we arrived, she told us that she was booked and we would need to reschedule. Then changed her mind and said she could do the root touch up and one trim. I let her know that I needed to leave by 7pm, and when the time drew closer to 7, and she wasn’t wrapping up, she told me that I should’ve let her know up front when I needed to leave. She didn’t mention that she only takes cash and came off pretty put-off when I told her that I only brought a card with me. Instead of being understanding and working out a plan that would fit us both, She said that I would need to go to an ATM and get cash for her services before I could leave? She said she was really uncomfortable with trusting me to pay her even though she never mentions that she is limited in how she can accept payment and didn’t assume we could work it out together. I expected typical pricing for the services and was pretty floored when I was charged $50 for a trim for my daughter and $125 for a root touch up for my other daughter"

"Dell is amazing, when I first started going to her I was having hair loss issues. She told me that I needed to trim my hair and I thought she was crazy but I allowed her to trim it. Afterwards she did a lot of things to condition and make my hair stronger while giving me amazing styles. My hair is now stronger healthily and too long. I have been going to Dell’s for quite a while now and when she ask me what style I want, I just tell her to do what she wants. I won’t allow anyone else to take care of my hair now."
