"Visited Amy this morning for a gel manicure, and I am so impressed. I had not been to A&Q previously, and it had been awhile since I had had my nails done. Amy was very friendly and was so detail-oriented when painting my nails. I have had so many nail salon experiences where I had left feeling less than thrilled about how my nails turned out, but not this time. This is the best manicure I’ve had!"

"I don’t typically write negative reviews, but I feel like this was warranted. When researching where I wanted to go with my daughter to get pedicures, I found AQ and saw all of the five star reviews. So I decided to make an appointment for the both of us to get pedicures for our girls weekend. The place is very pretty. It’s very well set up and welcoming! My daughter was fortunate enough to get the husband. I believe his name is Tony. And I got who I believe to be the new trainee. I ordered both of us to get the treatment with all of the extras. And gel nail polish. Once he started-to do his job, it kind of fell apart. The beginning massage was pleasant. But then he started using t that cheese grater and was extremely rough. His rough treatment led to his grating off my skin on the side of my foot and it started bleeding. I jumped and told him he hurt me and he just kind of ignored me. He then started filing my nails again very rough and all of the edges where tender and raw. I again pulled my foot away at one point because it hurt so bad. He kept doing whatever he was doing and when it got to the hot stones he tested them like scrub brushes - no actual massage - just used them like scrub brushes. Very odd to say the least. My daughter on the other hand got an amazing treatment…which I was very glad for, as it would have been horrible for her to have gotten the treatment that I did. The owner, nail technician finished my treatment - which I was grateful for, as I didn’t trust the guy I had to paint them. I had to tell the owner that I needed a band-aide and tell him how painful and disappointing the experience had been. When it was all done he just said he was sorry and he has never seen him do a bad job like that before and proceeded to charge me for a service I never received. I of course paid it and told him how disappointed I was and said that that guy clearly needed more training. I guess he didn’t care? Apparently sorry was sufficient enough as long as I paid the full price. To bad for sure - we go through the area quite often and always look for places we want to re-visit. I guess this won’t be one of them."

"This was my first time visiting this salon and the service was awesome! The atmosphere was friendly and peaceful. The salon is nicely decorated and organized. I felt welcome and like my requests were heard. Amy did my nails, lashes, and waxing. She was kind and personable. There was good communication and I am very happy with the results! It’s apparent that she takes great pride in her work, as she should since she is so good at it! I will definitely be returning:)"
