"I usually do short reviews. But I can't help but to give credit to Mr. Tony Lee and his whole shop company. If you meet him in person, you will see what I mean. You can really see he is a kind and genuine human being. See for yourself, and you will become-not just any regular customer - but a fan. He made sure I get a genuine and mint condition transmission. Not just any other transmission. I feel he took care of us like family. He fixed an EXHAUSTIVE transmission work on our 2019 Subaru Outback. It was much faster than I expected.. Yes.... Transmission job - in ONE DAY. I was there to see for myself the actual part,(uninstalled) and had pictures of it in the morning. Then that SAME visit, he told me face to face - "you can pick it up tomorrow". I was floored! Transmission job? In one day? You gotta be kidding me. In a good way of course. Sure enough, THE MORNING - of the next day- he texted me - "Ready -pick up"... By afternoon... my daughter is already driving it home. She says "it runs so well. No more annoying sounds and lights." Well it's more than just the "sounds and lights" that Mr. Tony Lee fixed. He took off the bolts and mounts on top of the engine, he took the wheels off, he took the axles off, he took the exhaust pipe off, he took the the driveshaft off, he uninstalled the entire steering system, and all the wires, and then drained the fluids - just to get to the old transmission; which weighs as much as a large two door refrigerator. Then, he dis assembled it from the engine and the fly wheel and all. I'm sure I missed out on a lot of things. He basically gutted out our Subaru Outback, and replenished and reinstalled genuine Subaru fluids and a whole mint condition transmission - THEN RE-installed everything else, that I mentioned... and more. I only had one experience in my entire life that matched the service, efficiency and excellent job that Mr. Tony Lee provided... And that's a service I had from none other than the HEAD Technician of Eastside Subaru (then head technician of Carter Subaru)- my entire Subaru ENGINE was installed and finished with the same degree of excellence. Needless to say, that I would recommend him to everyone who is wanting the same experience, that I had with him. We are more than thankful, and are grateful for his rare service and heart.
