"Chicken was overcooked and dry. Mac/ cheese and creamy slaw was the highlights of our visit. My wing had MULTIPLE broken bones. Had me questioning the quality of the chicken supplier. Greasy beyond greasy. Hands were soaked in oil. Had to use 5 paper towels for a 2 PC meal. Personnel had zero personality. First timers. We saw Ezells on KGW news and felt we had to try it. "I'm a semi regular customer here and haven't had any complaints over 10+ years until now. Put in an order online at 1:30 pm to pick up at 5:15. Arrived at 5:20 and after waiting for everyone in the lobby to get their food, was told my order would be another 10-15 minutes (now at 5:30). I understand getting behind when it's busy, and I'll still be coming back. But I guess planning ahead still doesn't help get an order on time sometimes :("
"I wanted to like Ezells so badly. I went 2 times within a week just to make sure my taste buds weren't deceiving me. Service is just as bad as the baked beans and fries. The chicken is just OKAY, it's not bad it's just okay. I can appreciate that it's hot and fresh but it taste like old grease and lacking in key flavors. I came back to try the tenders. I placed an online order but had to wait an extra 15 mins after the quoted time. The tenders taste like old grease. The price of the food does not match the product. The only good thing is the roll and I can't even confidently say that because the first time I came, the roll was OKAY and the second time the roll was AWESOME. "This place was getting slammed with orders when I arrived, but I was able to get my order quicker than others. I ordered the spicy chicken combo. Apparently spicy also means extra crispy. The chicken was alright, I couldn’t order regular without waiting an extra 30 minutes. The stars were definitely the sides. The roll was warm and so soft. The beans were great!"
"I wasn't gonna give them 5 stars. Cause I'm usually more conservative than that. Except for what this place is a fast food chicken place. It's excellent, the chickens delicious. What more can you say? I haven't tried their sides. I always just get a 3 piece which is about 10 bucks with a roll . Fresh fast delicious and crispy chicken!"
