"I'll start with the good. The service here was stellar. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and my food was ready before I could blink. That's where the good ends, unfortunately. If you like spice with no flavor, this is the place for you. If you prefer good BBQ, there are at least two other places in town (and one out of town a bit) that have this place beat hands down. With offerings like Steel Barrel and Jerk Juicy, there's really no reason to subject yourself to Pecos Pit."
"Nice. Something new. Much better than Dickies. I love the black beans in the caviar and pit beans. I even took home the cowboy caviar yesterday and heated it up for dinner, it was great! It's served cold at the restaurant. Pretty cold inside the building."

"Had to give this place a go! I’m from Kansas so BBQ is one of my core food groups. This place was mighty tasty! Potato salad was the best I’ve had, pulled pork was excellent and succulent, brisket was smoky but not dry. My only complaint was my choice of sauce, I got mild because I wasn’t sure of the spice level, and I definitely could have gone up. Next time for sure. Customer service was great as well!"
"This is a fun, new barbecue place here in our town. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and quick and attentive, and a portions were generous. The barbecue sauce that they had labeled as dynamite hot really surprise you that spot on as a description. Overall I would give this place five stars and encourage you to go check it out. there is free parking which is an added bonus. The restrooms are clean. There is outdoor seating available if you’re interested. Since it’s a brand new location in a little township of Yelm, everything is so brand spanking new and clean."
