I've taken candle-making classes here, purchased supplies to make my own at home, and all of my candles have turned out perfectly. The scents are SO wonderful, and the candles burn (cleanly!) all the way down to the little metal piece that holds the wick in place--NO waste! I can't wait to learn soap-making at Karner!"

Cost more than most but go twice as far so worth it in the end.The owner is a great lady who knows her stuff and is always willing to help with any candle making issues. She also carries soap supplies now. So glad it's right here in Madison so you can avoid high shipping costs."

"Depending on what you buy, prices may seem steep but you are paying for quality and care. The owner is almost always present and is extremely knowledgeable about the science of candlemaking. The store sells candles as well as candlemaking equipment. The staff are willing to walk a beginner through the steps of candle creation, or even describe how they made candles around the shop."
