"I'm in another state, working with my client in California. I request a quote from David at the Dana Point location for replacing a 2TB disk in an iMac. Then he takes it upon himself to quote me a 1TB disk without telling me the size when he called back with the quote. Why you ask? because they claim my client was not using that much space... Why would I ask for a 1:1 replacement and then you quote me a smaller size. 2TB SATA generic media for 200.00. I wonder if they will even warranty the hardware. Now upon realizing they installed a smaller disk they want to charge me again to open up the Mac and install what I originally requested. Then I ask for what brand and model they used and said they could not tell me, upon further investigation I found it is Generic media not even Kingston or Samsung. Will never use them again for clients in the area."
