"Our area experienced freezing temperatures and caused the water pipe at our house to burst! We called a lot of companies, but no one responded. We were confused in the beginning because we were calling other Servpro‘s and other companies but no one ever showed up. Servpro of Chino came and the nice gentleman Fernand Lopez explained to us that he’s part of the traveling disaster team from Socal, he explained to us in great detail the entire process and what to expect . He kept us in the loop thru out the entire time and updated us once the adjuster gave approval. His demo team was great!! We were very fortunate to have such an amazing team help us in a time of need."

"Servpro is the on-program restoration company that contracted with Mercury Insurance. They also provide reconstruction service for your house if you decide to give them your business. They provided restoration services to my house a few days ago. I have to say they are very professional in terms of communication, service procedures, equipment and the way their technicians doing the business. Fernando Lopez is the supervisor who kept in touch with us and responded our message and request fast. He’s also very detail oriented and dedicated to quality of work. "TOTAL RIP OFF! 1st they come out and don't TELL you there is a service charge to come out. This is a common practice I know and totally understand the reason BUT they were at the location ANYWAY to visit the neighbors unit (the one that caused the water damage) so they charged me & the neighbor for the same trip! On this trip they delivered the dehu and fans, and wanted me to sign off my insurance rights. Meaning THEY would negotiate with MY insurance company on MY behalf. NO NO NO!! Please EVERYONE - NEVER do this!! NEVER give your rights away! I then advised that I would, personally, rent the dehu and fans for 3 days (until I could assess and get a handle on the damages) and wouldn't put this through insurance. I asked for an estimated cost and gave them my credit card info. They advised it would be Approx $750. I got the amount for WHAT I THOUGHT was the total amount $768.75, of which I paid. I just got the 'final invoice' and it is for $1786.66!!! MORE THAN DOUBLE! ServPro demo'd MUCH MORE than should have been demo'd in the neighbor's unit. They claim that just because there was water, it ALL HAD TO BE REMOVED! They didn't even wait to see if there would be mold or other damage. I saw what they did to the neighbor and didn't want them touching my unit. It is insurance fraud to do MORE than what is required "in the name of mitigating the damages'. TOTAL OVER KILL! Just beware. If you have damage, yes, get the initial mitigation done (turn off the water and vacuum it up and put fans and dehumidifiers out, or board up after a fire, etc) but THEN take a step back and get SEVERAL estimates and advice from OTHERS! Never just take one contractor's 'word'. THEY are out to MAKE $$ on YOUR behalf. Once they tear everything out, there is no way the insurance co can assess AND the insurance co most times deducts depreciation. Once it is torn OUT it needs to be put BACK! But your insurance may not PAY for it ALL to be put back!! FIND THIS OUT FIRST!!!! Please be VERY careful when you have a major incident! THERE IS TIME to assess. They 'scare you' into doing MUCH MORE in the name of 'mitigating so there is no other damage that your insurance company won't pay for!' Take a breath, know your options, and DON'T TRUST THIS ServPro!!!"

"The drain at my apartments burst and overflowed on thanksgiving weekend and caused a mess outside the apartment common area. Fernando arrived on a Saturday midday with a good attitude and was very polite. He removed all of the nasty toilet paper and excrement that was thru out the area. In addition, he even went as far as to knock on a unit and talk to the parents of the kids who kept biking thru the puddle of sewage water to advise them about their kids who splattered water thru out their clothes. Even after hours of cleaning, he gladly checked my bathroom for water leak and answered all my questions. "
