"I've taken my basset hound Tucker to Waggin' Tails for over 5 years now. I was lucky enough to bump into someone at a park who recommended this daycare option for my dog, after I shared that we had some really scary encounters where Tucker was attacked twice (unprovoked) at local dog parks. I am so grateful to have a place that I feel safe taking Tucker. He's a hound who loves to be outdoors, smelling all the great scents and taking in some sunshine while socializing with his furry friends. Andrea (the owner) has such a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior and possesses a confidence with dog-handling that gives me such peace of mind. It also makes for a more enjoyable experience for the entire pack of pups. It's impressive to see her in action. You can see by Tucker's picture that he is living his best life and feels very secure at Waggin' Tails. :) In addition to having a great place to take your pets, you also get the meet an owner who treats clients with warmth and personalized service. She hosts fun celebrations, and always takes the time make hand-made cards for her customers at the holidays. Lastly, Waggin' Tails prices are so competitive, and it's super easy to get right on and off the freeway on my way to/home from work. Super grateful that Tucker loves his "home away from home" during the weekdays!"

"So google sent me 3 requests to review this place and I responded with a "generous 1 star" without adding any comments about this dog daycare. But since wagging tails responded saying we were upset because our dogs did not pass their evaluation, I m writing again to say why we were upset. The day we (me and my wife) took our dogs for evaluation, one lady (the owner) took our dogs while the other lady stayed with us watching this evaluation over the fence. We saw the lady with our dogs bringing another dog in to the area, one of my dogs started sniffing the new dog and the lady started very rudely pushing my dog with her knees, my dog back down and left to a corner. My wife commented: Did you see what She just did? She just hit Whiskey with her knees! Im not leaving them here" my wife said. right then I saw the lady doing the evaluation, knee my other dog on his chest for no reason at all. Yes, we were upset, the lady who was near us went to talk to the owner while my wife and myself went by the gate to get our dogs, then the owner open the gate and said " They didnt pass"! my wife told her, this dogs have been in dozens of places before, they are the sweetest dogs and there was no need to push them the way You did. To which the eval lady responded that they were trying to take over the situation" . I said: There was no situation there. These dogs know how to behave, She responded " I guess these other places you have been taking your dogs before, are lying to you because they just want your money" We are RV travelers, never had this kind of experience. We take our dogs to public parks, days cares and boarding cage free facilities all over California, and another states to exercise and socialize with other dogs. Our thoughts at the end of the dogcare evaluation was: Were they evaluating our dogs or us. Did this other woman stayed with us to see our reaction to the treatment our dogs were getting? We have these dogs since they were 5 weeks old. They are 8 years old now, well mannered where ever they go. They are part of our family and we are not going to let any one bullied them. Everyone need to make their own judgement about this dog daycare, maybe the evaluation depends if they like you? If you are ok letting them bully your friends. There were a few dogs there that day, all walking around, no playing, no one having fun. A couple of little doggies in a corner very cold and shivering. Not a pleasant experience at all."

"Couple of comments. The website states they love to have you come tour but that's not the impression when called. Very limited times and was invited to come look over the fence lol. the lady told me they don't accept dogs not fixed of any age. But the website states they must be fixed by 6 months. My puppy is barely 4 months but was told nope he had to be fixed now. Most vets tell you for large breeds to wait until close to 1 yr for bone growth, they need those hormones! Oh well. was looking for a spot for 3 days a week. I'll move on. This is a response to the owners reply. I was in fact told by your staff that my 4 month old puppy had to be neutered. I repeated it back to be certain. I wasn't offered any other time or day to come and tour other then looking over the fence. I did find an amazing place, Folsom Pet Resort which is phenomenal. I dont think you're doing your business any favors by implying a reviewer is lying."

"Great setting for a doggie daycare! Very clean and organized facility and Andrea and her staff were very welcoming and kind. I also couldn't help but to notice how attentive they are to their guests (pups)! I appreciated how honest they were with the importance of having the right dogs attend their daycare to create a happy environment for all :) If you're looking a great doggie care, this is it!"
