"I came here because of the location convenience to our son's place and because of the great reviews about cleanliness and conscientious managers who keep the place free of trouble. Unfortunately our room was very small and in poor repair, the fridge was not quite cold enough even when turned as cold as it would go, the shower curtain had no liner so sopping wet material stuck to you in the shower, the walls were so thin that the neighbor blaring his television from 11pm to 3am kept me awake all night, and the poor bed stand, which was too small for the undersized queen, kept trying to drop me off the edge. They may have other rooms that were better appointed or more updated, but we were actually grateful for the loud, thumping, whining AC unit, as it helped to drown out a lot of neighbor noises, fights, conversations and TV shows. The room was also the price of most of the larger hotels in the area but didn't provide the little soaps, coffees, lotions, etc. that often come with a $118-125 a night room, and the owners make excuses about laws regarding waste, but don't bother to spend the money on environmentally conscientious products and compostable options. They said the fridge was "so new" the plastic hadn't been pulled off of it yet, but the fridge was old enough that the neglected plastic was peeling off the front. Too much damage, too many excuses, and I strongly dislike owners who argue with reviews that are accurate and just, given the fact that it was my personal experience and there is nothing they should be adding or arguing with. We would not make the mistake of staying here again."

"Had to book a room here very last minute because my previous reservation at Super 8 on Madison Ave was absolutely disgusting! The folks at the front desk were very nice and let me see the room before booking. It was a bit pricey but worked for the night. I would consider staying here again if needed."

"My teenage son and I just stayed here. It was a last minute booking for a concert that night in Wheatland. The hotel we had originally booked in Rocklin screwed up our reservation. The Ranch was the only place we could find that was the closest to the venue. The gentlemen at the front desk was great on the phone when I called and in person. He was personable and chit chatted with us during check in. The room was more spacious than we thought it would be. It was clean and no bugs (as a property manager it’s the first thing I look for before putting my stuff inside). It is close to food, on a Main Street but it was super quiet! The room was nice and dark! Looked recently updated. We would stay again if we ever find ourselves out that way for a concert in the future."
