"It took months to get an appointment. The staff wouldn't reach out to my PP. I had to do all the calling and requesting of documents/Notes. Ive never had to do that with any health care provider. Doctor himself has terrible bedside manners and zero communication skills with my 3 year old. Be aware of the lack of consent."

"My wife, a critical care nurse, took my son to doctor Saito, after being referred by our pediatrician for sensory processing issues. This doctor dismissed all of my wifes concerns. Saying things about occupation and physical therapies being laypeople terms and diagnosing our son without assessing him and within less than 5 minutes with multiple genetic abnormalities, as he called them, in front of our 9 year old son. Although he was aware of our sons lack of knowledge in regards to being "different", he then dictated his diagnosis along with his recommnedation for medications. He lacks the compassion one should have when dealing with children and might have a disorder himself. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone and it is very unfortunate, he is the only Pediatric Neurologist availabke through RMC."

"Dr. Saito has been an amazing neurologist as well as developmental pediatrician working with my sons ASD. He has never disregarded our needs, and I feel as if he truly cares for my son. He put my son on a medication that has been controlling his seizures, and when we have had complications being sent to the hospital etc. he will stay in touch with his personal cell phone until he knows that he is OK. For those saying that Dr. Saito is not caring about our children, I’ve never seen it. I have nothing but good to say about him, and would highly recommend him to anyone who has a child with special care needs. His bedside manner can tend to be blunt, straightforward and to the point. I feel as if that can throw people off, maybe they take it as being rude? i’ve never perceived it that way. Ask lots of questions and he is more than happy to answer. I hope to continue to see Dr. Saito for many years to come!"

"We had a great experience with Dr. Saito & his NP and MA. I’m honestly very confused with the previous reviews as it was nothing like that with us. He explained everything very clearly, thoroughly and ran all the tests just to make sure everything is good with my daughter. He thinks her behavior is normal but still ordered an EEG and bloodwork just to be sure. He is upbeat and was great with my daughter. I would definitely bring my daughter back to him and felt like we were taken care of very well. Thank you Dr. Saito."

"Worst doctor for my child. I will not be returning. I don't understand why he chooses to be a pediatric neurologist. He was rude with the very few doctor visits that we had with him. He got upset when I refused medication for my son and snapped at me for wasting an expensive prescription paper. That drug he wanted to give my son wasn’t good. I read the side affects and “tell your doctor if you or your family member has” well everything on that list-my/ father’s family has. I asked for therapy and he made a huge fuss on wasting his time. When time was up, he rushed me by him walking out the door asking if there was anything else i needed while he was in the hallway. That isn't patient doctor confidentiality. He isn't the right doctor for my son."
