"Shame on Pet Pawzitive!!! My daughter took her Pug in for teeth cleaning. When she took her in, she was told there looked like one tooth that may need to be removed. The cost of the cleaning is $500.00 and if any teeth needed removed. It would cost $100.00 per tooth. My daughter got a call when the procedure was done and they pulled 18 teeth! I don’t know if they are desperate for money or if the dog really had 18 rotten teeth. The big issue I have is they didn’t have the courtesy to call my daughter and let her know before they pulled them all. This would have allowed my daughter to get a second opinion at least. The total bill was around $1,300 when she was expecting $600 based on the vets initial statement of a single bad tooth. Very poor customer service. Also, pulling 18 teeth at the same time seems like animal abuse to me. Would anyone allow a dentist to pull half of your kids teeth at once? Shame on Pet Pawzitive"

"I was very happy with the walk in vaccine clinic in the evening. I also had my dog's anal glands expressed. The staff was nice and it didn't take too long. January 2024 - another great visit. I took my daughter's dachshund in for a nail trim and everything went well."

"Pet Pawsative in Simi Valley is a convenient, reasonably-priced, and transparent place to get your pet vaccinated. No upselling. We paid an extra $19 to make an appointment with a technician, but that is not really necessary as the walk-in clinic is easy too. All staff are very professional and compassionate. "I am very unhappy with their practice of billing and the fact they administer the shots and exam without the pet owner present. I have NEVER taken my pet to a place that does not do the exam and shots in front of me. I took my new kitten here because when they used to do the shots in conjunction with the pet store around the corner I never had any problems. But here is my overall experience...I reached out to them through their website to request an appointment. I received a text asking for the same information I just sent on the site. Then crickets...no response. I work and their hours of operation are limited (During my working hours) So when I finally have time off to get to a walk in appointment they charge an extra $30 as a walk in for the "required" exam for animals under 1 year old. So, I do the appointment...mind you I am in their lobby for 2 hours! Then I ask to schedule an appointment for the kitty's next shots. Oh that will be $20 to "reserve" your time slot. WAIT, WHAT? Does that reservation fee get applied to my next appointment or...OH NO THAT IS ONLY FOR THE APPOINTMENT. You have got to be kidding me!! I also had 7 different people help me...come on guys. Make things more efficient and you wouldn't have to charge these extra fees all over the place. My recommendation..find another facility that cares about your time doesn't nickle and dime you, and that takes care of your animal in front of you Please be aware they only try to bash the bad reviews!! They don't respond to good reviews and don't understand how to take constructive criticism. Now it just looks like they are justifying why they don't mention their fees to you...make sure you read everything o. their website before you use their facility. The people were nice. My complaint was NOT about my wait time, but the fact that either way they are charging you extra fees for an appointment and yes they did the shots on the table at the pet shop...Read the other reviews."
