"I like this store much more than Vons / Albertsons. Good pricing and great meat counter. I feel bad giving it 3 stars but I find the store layout frustrating. There’s one drink isle for soda etc. and a second for juice products but they are on the opposite sides of the store from each other? Same thing with bread; the bakery is on the left side of the store but the bread aisle is all the way on the right side near the beer coolers? The meat counter is great, but as far as fresh fish there’s not much. The product selection is limited they don’t carry some items I like so I have to go to other grocery stores to get them. So overall, I definitely recommend the store, but there are some areas where I feel it could be better."
"I forgot how nice it is in there! There are a few foods I like that Costco and Albertson's just don't have. Whatever they don't, Stater Bros. seems to, with few exceptions. Everyone there was friendly, and the checkout was fast. Prices are also comparable! Some higher, some lower, all reasonable, considering the state of the world and cost of food these days."
"Firstly, I love stater brothers for their meat counter. It's huge and has so many great cuts and pre-marinated items. I don't think I ever buy prepacked meat there! I go to the amazing counter with great customer service. BUT this review is about their bakery. This is the second year we've gotten bday cakes from here and we're really impressed both times. They have a huge book of amazing elaborate pre-order cakes, but this sonic cake they did on the fly. Just sent them a picture and they added patterns on the sides and everything! Really went above and beyond for a short turn around cake. How awesome is this!? And the price is great!!"
"I went there for the meat department because I'd heard so many good things about it from other people. I was not disappointed. There were butchers there who knew what they were doing. Gorgeous meat display! This whole store is immaculate, clean floors, well cared for. Helpful cashier when I checked out. This store chain is a California gem."
"First time and I was impressed. The store is clean, organized and nice! The aisles are wide with shelves neatly stocked. Came in for chicken wings, which were unfortunately sold out, but I understood seeing that many people go because of the meat dept."
