"We started taking our dogs to South Pasadena Animal Hospital in June, 2023. We were impressed and still are to this day with Dr. Navia and her team. The care our dogs have received has been second to none. They are truly dog people, but we have seen people in the waiting room with a variety of other animals who seem just as satisfied. One of our dogs needed extensive dental work-perfect. One of our dogs needed to be spayed-perfect. Unfortunately, one of our dogs of 14+ years quickly developed a serious medical condition and had to be euthanized. What a sad day for our family! However, the sympathetic words and caring actions by Dr. Navia and her team helped our Bella pass with the respect owed to her after 14+ years as our baby. We will always be thankful to Dr. Navia and each member of her team who helped us navigate such a heart wrenching day. The rest of our dogs will continue to journey and receive the medical care they deserve from Dr. Navia and her team."

There are no sour faces or grouchy ways that come across as hating the animals or the work. This is the first time in a long while that our dog is not traumatized by the vet and support staff. "My fur-babies and I absolutely love SPAH. SPAH sees exotic pets and your typical dogs and cats so I am able to bring both my guinea pigs and my pup. Veterinarians and staff are always so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. It always feels so welcoming. All my pets feel at ease when visiting for health check ups. There is some free parking behind the building or you can find some around on the street. In my opinion at this time, prices are affordable for both dog exam visits and exotic exam visits."

"Lovely experience, I have a tame female roof rat; rescued from my friend’s cat at only a week old and hand raised. She’s over a year and a half and had an accident during play time this past week. Knocked over a piece of furniture and cut her tail open. Dr. Navia and her team were very understanding and calm in addressing Newmi’s injury. I’m incredibly impressed they were able to bandage her tail with minimal stress, Newmi is on the mend and fingers crossed this cut heals and we don’t have to amputate…"
