"Both of my daughters ages 8 and 11 have been going to Charles Gracie Elk Grove for 1 year now and they absolutely love it. My 11 year old was attending another gym for several years but due to COVID the classes were no longer available and this was my 8 year olds first time trying Jiu-Jitsu. It has help me develop different skills for self defense, discipline, and mental focus. My strength in feeling confident and motivated has grown. "I started to take Jiu Jitsu for the self-Defense aspect, but I ended up loving it and signed up quickly after. Coach Ryan does great with kids keeping them focused and engaged when learning technique and still allowing the children to have fun. I also had a great experience learning from him in the adult class! The class is a great way to work out as well! Being new to Jiu Jitsu the staff did such a great job on guiding me with the moves that we were learning. Charles Gracie in Elk Grove had great atmosphere with great people and was also very clean!
