KANG Taekwondo

"We started taking our son to KANG Taekwondo about a year ago. He started during the pandemic and the school took great precautions and protocols to keep the kids and staff safe. I felt very comfortable taking my son here. At the beginning my son was shy, so he doesn’t always participate in the activities and Master Kang was phenomenal. He worked with me on how we improve the situation. Master Kang is patience and kind towards the students. He lead the kids with great examples. At the beginning of the class he teaches the kids respect & self discipline and he ends the class with positive star notes. During the class time he is very hands on with the students and his staff are awesome as well. Everyone is just so great with the kids. We are lucky to landed such great place with amazing people!"

"I was looking for a martial arts place to take my 6 year old son, Andrew. I first checked out premier in Elk Grove because they were closer to me. Just by observing the instructors there, I was not a fan. I decided to check out Kang’s Taekwondo in Elk Grove, further from me, however my nieces and nephews also goes there. Instantly this place was a lot better. The place is nice, clean, and Master Kang was not only nice but funny. He makes taekwondo fun to a certain extent. You’re here to learn and train so that’s very important but he makes jokes to make the kids laugh so they can pay attention and follow directions. I also like how he has all of his staff/instructors to help out with the kids as well. Each and every one of them are nice and respectful. I highly recommend this place!"

"Our family’s first time enrolling our child to a Taekwondo class and we feel so blessed to be apart of such an amazing atmosphere located right in our beautiful community of Elk Grove. Master Kang and his entire staff are so warm and welcoming. My child feels absolutely at home, gets to run around barefoot, and looks forward to each and every class. Yes I can attitude, trying new things, listening the first time, how to deal with bullies, self confidence, and respect are some of the examples of the knowledge my child is continuously gaining from attending Taekwondo with Master Kang. I called Master Kang ahead of time and he advised that he works with children of all levels. Since starting, I’ve seen great improvement in my son’s patience and confidence. And of course, he loves being able to do cool martial arts moves! Master Kang integrates good values such as respect and courtesy into the training. "Love Kang’s in Elk Grove! My son has been going here for about 6 months. Master Kang is the master of tough love - he holds the kids to a high standard of behavior but is never harsh. Lots of little incentives - stripes, belts, good behavior cards - so it’s great for kids who thrive on reward systems. It’s also highly entertaining for parents of younger kids!"
