"Drivers remember to get your UNFI detention form from the office! otherwise they will Deny your Detention. and expect detention every time you go there. I sat for 4.5 hours after my apt time. they are denying my detention because of that form."
"No place to park. No restrooms. Appointment time was at midnight. Arrived at 1130pm. Docked right away. Unloaded quickly but waited 4 1/2 hours for paperwork."
"Arrived on time for my 2300 appt. Checked in and assigned a door immediately. 6 pallets of displays. The first two stops went fast. I figured this would too. That was my first mistake. After hour 2 the broker asked me to see if something was holding me up before they could begin Detention. So.... I asked the fella at the receiving office and he said well yeah, you've been empty for over a hour. He sent me to the Capstone area. That's where I met Karen. She is a UNFI employee and she was a total CUNext Tuesday!! She informed me with full Karen style they don't inform the drivers when they're empty and I WILL NOT BE PAID DETENTION!! Attempting to engage in dialogue with her was clearly my second mistake. She over talked me the entire attempt of having any kind of adult conversation. She obviously didn't like me. I paid Capstone. I received my Bills of Lading signed. And yet they wouldn't release my trailer from the wall for over 4 hours. It cost me a little sleep, but I definitely learned a valuable lesson. UNFI/Super Valu is only as good as their worst employee. The grocery warehouse program definitely isn't my Jam! Lesson Learned!"
"At 1800 means just that can park on place to unload. Was n door at 6 21. CPS unloaded it. No no overnight parking. Truck stop not far. Just like all other places we go hurry up and wait"
"My Appointment is at 2300 hours and it’s now 10:15 pm. I checked in at 7:35 pm and the guy at the window told me he would call me after he got some of the earlier appointment trucks out the way. You can check In anytime after 7:00 pm sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don’t. But it’s always better to try. Maybe they will call me soon I hope. Other than that the guy at the check in window was very respectful."
