"Very mixed reviews about living here, the location is great and probably the best thing about the place. There are plenty of things I can comment on, but for now, I wouldn't advise living here if you are looking to do your laundry in-building, very often only 2 out of 8 dryer machines work...this has been going on for a year, and it's beyond frustrating because nothing is ever done about it. The idea of using a credit card to wash should make laundry easier, but it constantly has issues. Overall, the experience has been ok at best."

"Absolutely never renting from Ogden ever again. Between the maintenance requests that were consistently ignored for 2 years, the botched maintenance that did get done (they literally screwed a plywood board over a hole in our bathroom ceiling that was leaking nasty water from the roof as well as sediment and who knows what else), and the fact that they took our entire security deposit and tried to charge us $830 extra in “late fees” for a parking spot that was given to another tenant 2 months prior. They threatened to send it to collections and we had to fight for months to finally get it PARTIALLY lowered, which only happened after we said we would take it to small claims court. They will also threaten to search every apartment if they think someone on your floor is smoking weed, but no worries about the person on the first floor smoking so many cigarettes inside that black tar was coming out from under their door and the whole first floor smelled so bad like cigarettes it made people retch. There was also a dog that was being abused/neglected and we could hear it crying and howling at all hours, to the point where the dog was losing it’s voice and we had to leave the apartment just to get away from it because it was so painful to hear. Management never did anything about it, even after MULTIPLE tenants complaining about it for months on end. A neighbor came to my door to ask if we could write a formal complaint because his had been ignored as well. I even tried to contact animal welfare services and they said they couldn’t do anything without cooperation from building management. Stay away. Ogden does not care how good of a tenant you are or how clean you leave the unit, they just want your money."

"I lived here for one year and loved it! It’s in a great location with Brady street and the lakefront just a short walking distance away. Carol and the rest of the staff are very accommodating and very quick to respond. They keep the laundry room, gym, and outdoor surroundings clean. They also have large storage units in the basement which was very useful! Also, if they have any corner units available, I highly recommend renting a corner unit! So cute! The only concern would be parking"

"Words cannot begin to describe the amazing experience I've had living at Royal Plaza. I've lived here for four years and Carol is an outstanding landlord, the best I've had (and I've had a few!) She took over after my first year of living at Royal Plaza, and she really has turned the complex into an enjoyable, safe, and friendly environment. Key fob entry system. The laundry room has all new washers and dryers. There is plenty of parking whether you want surface level or garage parking. Packages are delivered to the office which is behind the locked, key fob, door. They've updated most of the units with new furnishings and Carol and her crew are prompt and accommodating to any request, no matter how big or small. I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for an affordable place, with close proximity to the lakefront, Brady St., and all that Milwaukee has to offer. Location is prime! Great pricing! Great units! Nothing but good things to say!"

"Looking for a one bedroom apartment in Milwaukee isn't easy but I am so glad that this is the place I chose. The management has been so helpful when it comes to mail and package delivery, maintenance, or just general questions. The location right off Brady street is amazing and the apartment itself is very secure so even with all the people around I feel completely safe in my apartment. I have yet to hear my neighbors when in my apartment and can always count on my packages being inside the building or secured in the main office. I HIGHLY recommend this property if you are looking to stay close to downtown and the east side. Also, the view and access to the Oak Leaf trail doesn't hurt! Other Details: - New laundry room was installed this last week with app access that allows you to know when machines are open and how long you have left in your cycle. - Decent work out room - Option for underground or lot parking - Storage unit in basement - Carol is always prompt to return emails and assist as needed"
