"Do not move here! Within the 1 year of living at Layton grove I experienced large amounts of animal feces left everywhere outside, dumpster over flowing every week, and a MICE infestation. I would call the leasing office over and over and they found it very difficult to send maintenance, which is a service we are charged for monthly, over to resolve the issue. I ended up having to contact Wisconsin Health Services to help press Layton Grove to resolve the infestation. Absolutely terrible experience. Save your money and preserve your peace of mind and steer clear of Layton Grove Apartments!"

"I lived here for a year and it was the worst experience ever! They have a nice problem that caused me to sleep on my friend’s couch for a month. They dragged their feet when it came to maintenance orders to get the mice under control. Neighbors leave their dog feces in the walk way. Leasing office does not care about your concerns. Do not live here!!!!"

"Very bad pest problem!! I’ve been reporting it to maintenance and the leasing office they don’t do anything and takes them days to check it out. Also I know they were aware of the issue before I moved in so many reviews saying the same thing. Been here for 3 and half months worst experience ever for my first apparent. Bed bugs , roaches and mice nothing is being treated staff are very rude and never in the office at office hours they are supposed to be open. I’ve asked if I can break my lease they offered to move me into a new unit and I denied , and also said if I break my lease I would have to go to court and would not get security deposit back and if I were to move into a new unit I would still have to pay another deposit."

"My aunt has lived at this apartment for over 17 years she is elderly and lives in a upper. The washing machines in the basement haven't been working for God knows how long she complains about it but nothing becomes of it. My aunt has really bad knees and has to do many stairs just to find out the machins are out!. The door never opens when she buzzes me in they never fix anything but are quick to up the rent but will Not fix the washers ? Something needs to change! This is so unacceptable."

"When we first saw the apartment my son was only 4 months old and the apartment manager was very welcoming. The office had an opening which was the unit above the office. As time went by and my son became more mobile. Anything that my son did, the office downstairs would come upstairs and tell me to quiet my son. They even sent us a letter stating that we are too loud and if they have to complain again about my kid being noisy then we will get kicked out. So after living 3 years in that apartment we decided to find a better apartment. The day we signed the document that we no longer will be living there, the manager told my husband before he left that it wasn't her that was complaining about us it was her co workers. When we lived there, we always had a complaint from the office about my son. That made us feel like everyday we had to hush my son. Maintenance guys were rude, office management was rude."
