"ETA:Dr Mitchell, just now after 8 months of our dog being gone, has decided to finally respond. With an absolute bunch of lies. This vet clinic is responsible for multiple mishandling of animals.I have posts on fb reviewing my experience where others told me of their dogs losing their lives, one lost an eye, etc.Responding 8 months later and bringing up the horrific loss of our beloved dog of 12 yrs is disgusting. AS IF WE DIDNT SPEND ENOUGH TIME GRIEVING THIS.Wonderful business practices. We did not demand any money. We simply asked for the money we spent to try and save his life and the money it cost to put him down.He didn't just have bloody stool. It was pouring out of his rear end.We woke up to our bedroom covered in blood. We also ASKED YOU SPECIFICALLY for xrays to which you told us "I don't think xrays are needed at this time".We then called 3 days later and spoke with your receptionist who repeated that and also stated "our xray machines are outdated and wouldn't show us much".I suggest you stop lying and harassing my family.I will never recommend your business to anyone. You also may want to read over what you wrote. You ended your comment with stating we didn't contact you to resolve the matter before going to social media. But above that mentioned (accused and lied) stating my hsuband called you demanding $3000.Which never happened as I stated above. We were incontact with you numerous times and you could have cared less.A simple sorry was all we got and that you wouldn't be refunding anything. You were rude, refused to help, and said Dr.Mitchell was to blame and to take it up with him. Lying is disgusting.I'll pray for you because it's clear you need it.If I could give negative stars I would.Dr. Minnis is one of the rudest, most unprofessional, people I have ever met.Her lack of compassion and "do right attitude" is sickening. She misdiagnosed my dog.Said he had arthritis when in fact it was cancer. We asked multiple times for imaging to which we were told by staff,That their xray machine was outdated and took poor quality images. We wound up having to take our dog to the urgent care and found out it wasn't arthritis it was in fact cancer and Dr. Minnis had him suffering in pain, as she had him on mrds that didn't work. The urgent care added a stronger med.We then followed up with Dr minnis' clinic and were met with a fill in vet named Dr mitchell. He gave our dog prednisone and carpofen which are NEVER to be given together.2 er visits later and we had to put our sweet boy down because he had internal bleeding due to the negligence of the vet and the clinic. We followed up with Dr Minnis and she gave a poor sad story of how bad she felt. She said all vets know not to give those tigtehr and that she was willing to refund us for bills just tell her what they were.We added everything together and dropped it off at her clinic. She didn't follow up so we did. I emailed her. I was professional but also wanted her to know how upset we were. She emailed me back an extremely unprofessional email and pushed all blame on the other vet.She refused to refund us the almost $3000 we had spent(not including bills at her clinic). She was mad that we HONESTLY reviewed her company and staff on her fb page. She accused us of slander.Which is falsely stating an interaction with a person or business.Which is not what we did. She stated she talked to her insurance company and they stated she isn't liable. She said Dr Mitchell's insurance would be calling us and they have yet to.We responded asking for both insurance companies contact information. She still hasn't responded.Steer clear of this place. She is all about the money and doesnt care jf her staff kills your animal. She also blocked me from her business page on fb because she was upset that I left an HONEST review. If you want to see my full story of our sweet Diesel, check out their fb page and see our review. They are liable and responsible for anything that happens under their roof.We were professional and courteous and just wanted to be refunded so we could move on."

"I will NEVER recommend anyone to this vet! We loved this clinic at first, the vet seemed so caring and the staff was great. All of a sudden it seemed like money had become the motive at this place and true caring for your pets is not the name of the game. Where do I begin??? A few months ago, we brought our bulldog in for an exam because he had started to "cough". The vet barely did any type of exam on him at all. We were told her dog was doing the same and it's just allergies, just to try benadryl. A week or so later, our bulldog was getting worse, so we brought him back. We were basically told to keep up with the benadryl and if he wasn't better after her 10 day vacation to Italy, then we could do a chest xray! Within a day, he got worse so we took him to another vet, where the new vet did a very extensive exam and xrays immediately. Long story short, our dog passed away a couple weeks later due to lung cancer... had we found it sooner then maybe we could have taken him to an oncologist and helped him from suffering. We also took our cat to Caledonia clinic, within the same time frame of us taking our bulldog there. We were having our cat checked for his glucose levels to see if he was diabetic still. She did a quick blood sample. Told me he's not diabetic anymore and could be put on the regular cat food with our other cats. (After being on a very specific diet for 2 years) He is now extremely sick! Our new vet has done a very thorough exam and testing on him now as well... his diabetes is back in full force, worse than it has ever been and he is now extremely sick. We are currently treating him for diabetes and possible kidney failure. I was also charged $70 for an exam at Caledonia, there had been absolutely no exam performed at all, because he needed to remain an "active" patient.. Another dog of ours recently ran out of his medication but is extremely old and relies on his medications. I contacted Caledonia to see if a refill could be done until we could get him to our new vet. Caledonia refilled his prescription for 2 weeks and told me she would watch for the chewy prescription to come through so it could be filled.... well, still no medications have been sent from chewy, so I called Caledonia again. Come to find out, the vet declined the medication because he needs to have his yearly check up. Why not call me to tell me this?? Why let him run out of medication when she knows he NEEDS it?? Why not tell me that he needs his annual exam when I talked to her the first time about his medication?? My husband and I were told by our new vet that the Caledonia clinic should be able to fax them over a written prescription so that they could fill our dogs medication before his appointment in 2 weeks. When I contacted Caledonia, I was told they don't write paper prescriptions? And there would be no way for me to get the script over to the new location. I have gotten written scripts in the past. Since being told that, my husband and I have both called multiple times and left voicemails just asking for a return call to clarify why we cannot get a script over to the new vet. We have gotten NO RETURN CALLS of any sort, we've also been hung up on when trying to call. So very unprofessional!! I'm disgusted with this clinic and how it is ran! But mostly I'm disgusted by the lack of care for our pets! I also know several other family members and friends who have had similar experiences as us, as well as, had Caledonia overdose a family members dog."

"Where to start.... My 14 week old French Bulldog puppy had surgery to remove a potentially cancerous tumor on her chin and the "service" I received surrounding this surgery was appalling to say the least. When my husband and I picked up our puppy in the afternoon following surgery we walked in and the receptionist did not call the Doctor or Tech to explain how the surgery went and when I asked questions about how to take care of the stitches and the pain meds he was reluctant to ask someone to come out to talk to us. Finally the tech (not the vet.. ps we never saw her at all before or after the surgery) came out to talk to us and it was like pulling teeth to get a response from her about how to care for our puppy who just had major surgery. When we got our puppy home and saw horrible the stitching was on her chin I was still trying to give them the benefit of doubt as I know it was a large tumor and there isn't a lot of skin on the chin to stitch... Two days later the stitches opened up completely (on a Sunday) and I had to take my dog into the Emergency Vet. The Emergency Vet told me the Incision line failed and she would have to be put back under anesthesia and be re-stitched (a small puppy with a short nose.. always risky). The Emergency Vet did not have a surgeon on staff that day so they game me more pain meds and an antibiotic and left the wound open so that the next day I could call Dr. Minnis (or another vet) to get her in so that she could be re stitched. When I called Caledonia Vet Clinic that Monday morning the "service" got even better. Dr. Minnis was defensive and rude. She couldn't believe that someone would think her work was less than perfection and she said that the Emergency Vet was unprofessional to criticize her work. She suggested that our puppy scratched her stitches (not true but I totally understand that stitches can open up, they were on her chin and she is a puppy) or that they just opened on their own, miraculously. THEN she told me that she would be happy to have our puppy come back in that day and put her out and re-stitch her however she was GOING OUT OF THE COUNTRY THE NEXT DAY and didn't have time. She said that she wouldn't fit her in or cancel another appointment because she was going on vacation. This is her business isn't it? Wouldn't you want to stay late or fit her in somewhere? This was her patient.... and a 14 week old puppy with a massive, bleeding open wound! She told me she couldn't help me and she didn't have any other options for me but I should call around and see if someone else could re stitch her. I am dumbfounded by the quality of care and service we received. From my observations and experience I think that the service is poor quality and the staff is undertrained. PS we went to another vet and they suggested that we (unfortunately) would let the wound close medically because it is too much of a risk to put her under again.. Our puppy is miserable, uncomfortable, and now will have a massive scar on her face."
