"Excellent play based preschool. It's a co-op, so you have to volunteer 1 day/week in the classroom. So you get to see how your child learns at school. Also one of the cheapest options around for preschool. If you can commit the volunteer time, I highly recommend checking this preschool out."
"I knew the first day we visited LCP that it was the place for us. My son loves his school-- his teacher, the activities, everything (well, except washing his hands--ha!). In the year and a half he's attended, he has learned so much and been exposed to so many concepts and experiences that I would never have imagined, let alone implemented on my own. Not only that but his social skills have improved dramatically (kind of a big deal since he's an only child). I have also learned many strategies to employ when dealing with the conflicts that are bound to crop up with preschoolers; working in the classroom has definitely made me a better parent. I love watching my son develop trusting relationships with the other adults who work in his class, and begin developing friendships. I could go on and on, but if you want to be an active part of a safe, caring, supportive community, and watch your child grow socially and academically, LCP is a great place to be."
"I couldn't recommend Loomis Community Preschool more highly! My siblings and I attended this preschool as kids, and so far, two of us have returned with our own children. The teachers are amazing, and the play-based learning model is perfect for little ones who are ready to start exploring the world. One of the best parts of Loomis Community Preschool for me, is the community that comes along with it. I love that my children attend a school where every parent is 100% committed to making their preschool experience wonderful!"
"This is a fantastic school, above and beyond my expectations. Art! I now have about 10 big art projects on the walls of my office. Field trips! We went to the local firehouse, the veterinarian, etc.. Teacher Sherry is great, couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Thanks for letting us be part of everything."
