"This is my 4 year old son's first year attending preschool at Loomis Star and overall we've been very happy there. He loves going each day and absolutely loves Mrs. Riley and Mrs. Cadden. They are very personable and I can tell they truly enjoy the kids. The school is good at communicating with parents and keeping us in the loop with what the kids are doing and learning each week. The days/hours of the program are very convenient with balancing drop offs and pick ups of older children at different schools. My son is looking forward to another year with Mrs. Riley and Mrs. Cadden before he heads off to kindergarten. I know given the curriculum and daily schedule, he'll be ready for kindergarten after another year at Loomis Star."
"WARNING We had to pull my child out of the Loomis location before the school year ended. In the last two months my 4 year old son (one of the youngest in the class) came home with 4 visible injuries and only one incident was reported to me. Whenever I brought the injuries to the teachers attention I am constantly told they can't always keep their eye on everyone. In the last two months my son has been: *punched in the face twice *scratched in the face drawing blood *pushed causing him to fall and came home with his entire side of face scraped from forehead to chin *multiple scratches on his forearm Earlier this year I had a conversation with the teachers that another child had tried choking my son. My son even enacted the event and told me he couldn't breathe. This behavior was learned at school and I should have pulled him out then. My son doesn't have his own tablet, phone or unsupervised tv time. We do not even own video games."
