Kayak City

"Well, I have to say I’m is extremely disappointed. After looking for months online for a simple part Kayak city is the only one that has it after calling all over the United States. I can’t believe they refuse to ship and I had told them that I would pay whatever it cost to ship it and for their time for packing and the owners reply was, they’re not equipped to ship what the hell is up with that I never heard of a small business walking away for $120 item plus shipping and handling especially during these times. What idiots."

"They had an advertised sale online, and I called ahead to make sure they had the kayak I wanted and what was advertised, a Pungo 120. When I got there the "boat was in back", and I confirmed with the person it was a Pungo 120, they said yes. Okay, we do the paperwork and the register "must have had a charge already in it" because they tried charging me an extra $50. And then when they bought the boat out and put it in my truck it was a Pungo 125. They then tried to tell me it was the same boat - it isn't. I didn't feel like fighting with them, and since I am a bigger guy and my kid could use my old 120 I went with it. The boats may be in the same family, but they are different, I would recommend the 120 over the 125 after my test paddle today. When I asked the guy in the store, he told me "my boss told me to give you this one, they are the same." Be careful with this store, they seem to play games."

"They have a lot of information and let you sit in all the kayaks you wanted. Only had 2 people working so when four customer showed up at the same time I feel like that was a rush for them; one sales person was on the phone the entire time. Otherwise is a good shop… bonus if you are a fisherman this is your place."

We found exactly what I needed, brand new, for less money than people were asking for it used!! Brandon Watts, Director of E-Commerce, was helpful and informative. He showed me all the features on my new Hobie Passport so I could easily assemble and enjoy it that same day.
