Red Roof Inn Milwaukee Airport

"BED BUGS! I was staying a few days ago for 1 night. At 9:30 i was bitten a bed bug while on top of the sheets of the bed. I took pictures and a video of it. Then took the bed bug to the front desk and showed the employee. Even stating i had concerns the owner would try to weasel out of a refund. I then checked out immediately. Yet i received an email saying there was never a bed bug and i was not getting a refund. I am still fighting this with my bank. But this place is run by bad ownership to no surprise. More interested in a quick dollar than doing right by the cusromer. Why would i leave at 9:30pm after paying for a night? Moving to a different room was not an option. There would have been bugs in another room as well. I would not have been comfortable sleeping there after the bed bug. Making the stay null and void. Do not stay here unless you like bedbugs or a bad location with criminals. Or paying extra for a fridge or microwave."

"Some of the rooms are actually good and everything works as it should be. Then you have rooms that have a phone with no insides, Gross moldy lifting up floorboards, holes in the wall, HVAC units that look like they have been through hell and back multiple times, and rooms where half the outlets don’t work. But I can bring my dog for no additional charge which kind of makes up for all the not so great things I mentioned."

"I have never been treated so terribly in my life by a hotel or motel and I have stayed at both. I came Friday evening and had two separate Priceline reservations. I am visiting my daughter who is getting medical treatment so I only had one day, during the day, to visit her. I asked if I could get the same room both nights, and was told that was ok. I was not told I needed to check back in between or obviously I would. Well, I came back this evening (Saturday around 8pm) and my clothes have been thrown away along with my headphones …. Supposedly. The first room I got had a literal chunk falling out of the shower. There were police here responding to a domestic dispute Friday night when I arrived. It does not feel safe. The only thing semi positive is despite being ratty it was semi clean. However the money I “saved” staying here is negated by the clothes and items I have to replace. I am horrified that they did not even try to contact my number which they make you put on the sheet when you check in to ask if I’d let clothes AND headphones on purpose or accident. I am trying to contact Red Roof and Priceline now to try to get some kind of refund. I am so livid and so upset and will never stay at another Red Roof location after this. I have been staying at hotels/motels frequently lately and have done so many times in the past. Do not stay here. It’s not pleasant and it’s not worth the saved money. Some motels are. Not this one."

"I brought my 2 big old dogs up here from Texas and needed a room for 2 days. The front desk lady bent the rules a little to help with our frustration. We were warm and cozy in our super comfy bed . I will be back"

"It’s pretty gross, but you get what you pay for. For $40/night there isn’t much left to complain about lol. Room smelled a bit, but was fairly clean… no weird interactions or shady folks. I stayed over the New Year, and it was much more quiet than I expected. Blood splatters on the bathroom door and droplets on the mattress… plus another unexplainable stain. No sign of active bugs, but the mattress alone indicates at one time there was at the very least a bedbug issue and they didn’t bother replacing anything. Front desk ladies are very kind. But, I only dealt with them once at check in. Honestly, wouldn’t stay again unless desperate with no other options. After checking in and browsing Priceline, for $8 more I could have had a pool and breakfast."
