La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Milwaukee Airport / Oak Creek

"Me and my husband come here annually for the park and fly bundle, it's a great value for the parking and room with the airport shuttle. Staff is all very accommodating and friendly, rooms are what you would expect for the price and proximity to airport, overall we are pleased with the outcome and the tall blonde front desk girl picked us up fast when we were ready to get our car. Some of the features in the hotel are outdated but you can tell the staff are trying, will keep coming back!"

"Got the room for $70/night. What a rip off!! If u r handicap (wheelchair) this place is NOT handicap friendly. The only wheelchair accessible rooms have one bed. When we checked in the gal at the front desk put me in a room furthest from the elevators. Then there was breakfast...well, wouldn't even call it that. Cereal with no milk or Spoons. OJ is Tang. 3 pieces of bread and 3 bagels. No coffee. When they found one pack of coffee to make no creamer or sugar. Will NEVER stay here again!!"

"Convenient restaurant next to hotel. Front desk gal was very nice and talkative about special attractions. Asked if I had been to Milwaukee before, but hadn't. Came for the Enchant Christmas and it was great, a short drive away and many neighborhoods with Christmas lights to drive through on the way back to the hotel. Room was setup nice. Would have liked a fridge in room, but still a good room for a great price. I would return. I can see how other reviews have been negative about smells but this hotel isn't a four and five star hotel so cut them a break. They aren't the ones causing the problems, they just have to deal with them as best as they can."

"Our dog found stuff in the floor after arriving. I don't think our room was vacuumed. Stayed 3 days and the water was barely even warm. Asked fir an additional pillow only to be told they didn't have any. Definitely people cooking in their rooms. Sometimes entering the halls you could smell cigarettes or even weed. I definitely wouldn't recommend. We've stayed here many times because we have dogs. They now charge 25 per night extra."

"Service was not the best. On the day I got to the airport after two flight delays, I called to have a shuttle get me, but the person at the desk at the time was rude to both myself AND the lady in charge of the shuttles (Roberta, super nice) and wouldn't send one out, let alone do her job. Roberta helped me out with getting a taxi to take me there by telling me to let one of the drivers know and I was off. Taxi driver was super nice and got me there safely (hotel is literally a 5 minute drive away from airport) and I went inside to check in. A different person was there, went through check in process and got my room key. Used said key only to find someone already had the room and the dude there was very confused as well. I went back downstairs, told her what happened and got a new room AND keys. I was already having a crazy night, so this wasn't helping. When I got to my actual room, only ONE of two keys worked, the hallway smelled weird, room could have been cleaner, and the bed was kinda stiff. It was really warm in there, so I turned on the ac. Bathroom was tiny, blowdryer didn't work, and the light was dim in the bathroom. Housekeeping NEVER came to my room the entire weekend I was there (I never had the do not disturb sign on the handle, so no excuse) to change towels so I had no clean towels after using them. Breakfast was complimentary, but very little choices to choose from. To say I was frustrated and annoyed is putting it mildly. When it was time to go home, I left for the airport in my rental and flew back home to GA. Next time, I won't ever book this hotel. It was just way too much."
