"I been staying here for a couple months now. It's roomy and decent, good place to stay while getting back on your feet or until finding an apartment. Temporary home etc etc, the beds are my kind for sure and very soft like, the pillows are like tempur pedic. Super relaxing to lay on. Pretty decent wifi and just all around makes you feel like yoir at home. Pretty quiet and very close to stores needed. And even have lots of job opportunities around. Bobby the "maintenance guy" is a very awesome man and got pretty tight with him since we've been here. HE never fails our needs. We just had a fire and he handled everything so well, himself and fulfilled helping us all, As the owner was not able to get back on time due to his other commitments he had going on BUT he also is a VERY OUTSTANDING owner. And friendly, he is super chill and negotiable and understanding. When came back after having to leave for a night due to the fire, I waved at him all happy and was thankful he was back, as he waved back. Very good guy! In the office, he even sells food and drinks and necessities, any of us may need. It's all like sort of like a secondary family. This is definitely one of the most chillest and calmest and decent place around here, out of all motels. I'll Forever give it 5 stars.❤️"

"Owner is very nice, greeted me with respect and dignity. Rooms were very well kept and the TV extra points. Soda machine doesn’t work but that’s fine they must promote a healthy lifestyle, even though his sons on the hefty side."

"Rooms are quiet and clean. Decor is outdated. But you get what you pay for 60 to 70 depending on room and amenities. Owners are very nice n try to accommodate whatever your needs may be."

"I just would like to take the time to type a review for those people who actually read them! Due to my unfortunate circumstances that has led me to stay here longer than a couple days, this motel is decent! Now, I have been staying here for a couple days only so far and it is honestly quiet around here and the rooms are bigger than I thought they would be. Very spacious, comes with microwave, refrigerator, TV (cable), WiFi, basically your basic needs. Obviously, every bodies stay is going to be different some negative and some positive. Based on a situation like mine (a lot of people in the same boat as me) or similar you pay $50 a night. Somebody struggling and trying to survive and find the cheapest motel this one is definitely the one on the strip (27th street) I suggest to come to and stay at! I have stayed at quite a few motels on the strip (the embassy -also suggest, whispering pines inn- lived there for 5 months and the room is decent but don't care for the owner or his uncle who barely speaks English. Bathroom had issues and had bed bugs! Gross! The plaza- too small of a room, the skyway motel- rooms are decent sized but no microwave or refrigerator. The owner is a crabby old man so not very good customer service. Dolly vista- nice room w refrigerator but no microwave and you have to check out everyday so they can clean before you can come back. (Wouldn't allow me to come back and stay because I had "some" crumbs on the floor. Ridiculous right? What are maids for? Econo Lodge on 13th and college was also pretty nice to stay rooms are big they had refrigerator and microwave also breakfast was served in the mornings with coffee 24 hours a day. Some of the staff were not friendly and they were judgemental as hell. Thank you for reading my review! The American Motel is very nice! :-)"

"Staff and owner treat you like family. Very friendly clean up to date. I've been here for 4 months without any problems besides the last 2 reviews bothered me because i know everyone that comes in and out of here and those 2 have never been here and i believe the names fake. I would recommend this place to any and all my family and friends anytime."
