"We have been at St. Edwards childcare development center for about four years now, and absolutely love it! The staff is super friendly. The kids get to do so many different activities and art projects. There are so many engaging themes/units that are so fun and cute! The learning is phenomenal. My child went to the 4K preschool program there and exited, knowing all of her letters sounds and was ready for kindergarten! The teachers down there were fantastic."

"Overall, most teachers were very good; however, administration was a nightmare! They have frequently made policy changes resulting in unexpected fees and been relentless in charging extra whenever possible. Several times when we reviewed our bill, we discovered a quiet policy change had resulted in extra charges. Whenever we contacted them to contest these charges, they refused to reverse any of the fees, claiming to have sent a memo and there are no exceptions. We have paid hundreds of dollars in unexpected fees over the last year. When our children first attended St. Ed's we filled out our scheduled drop off and pickup times. These were pretty consistent for about 2 years. Recently I had a job change which allowed me to frequently pick up earlier than the scheduled pickup time. Over the course of a week, I was working from home dealing with a sick child (who coincidentally we were paying daycare fees while keeping him home). I worked a bit longer on these days, but always picked up by before the scheduled pickup time. To my surprise I was charged a $20 late fee each day that week for the child that was still in daycare. I had contacted the Director thinking there must be some type of mistake. The director indicated that my pickup time was adjusted earlier to coincide with my changed work hours. When I asked for a copy of the signed contract, someone had hand- written in a change "per mom pickup at 3:45". I told them that I had never communicated a change to the contractual drop off or pickup times and that they can't change the contract just because they saw me picking up at an earlier time. I told them that I picked up my child per the official time listed in the contract so I would like a refund on the late charges. The director refused to issue a refund. It was indicated that they would revert back to the original pickup time so we would not be charged a "late fee" in the future. Instead, a month later they shortened the allowed hours and implemented an "extended care" that charges an additional hourly fee if you exceed those hours. This resulted in hundreds of dollars per week of additional "extended care" fees if we continued on our agreed contractual schedule. Effectively, they unilaterally modified the contract to reduce our agreed hours and replace the "late fee" with an extended care fee, ultimately significantly increasing the cost of our daycare. To top it off, when we contested this increase and even began picking up our children to adhere to the new reduced hours, they continued to charge the extended care fees (for hours our kids were not there) stating that we had to give two weeks' notice before making a change to our schedule. In COVID times, where there are very frequent daycare closures and our children have had to stay home multiple times after a daycare classmate tested positive, we have unfortunately become very used to paying for daycare services for time that we are struggling at home to watch our children and somehow maintain our jobs. Given how we have worked so hard to support this daycare, it is extremely disheartening that they seem to be solely focused finding ways to change their policy to charge us even more. Overall, this used to be a good daycare, at one time almost feeling like a second home for our children. Unfortunately, their administrative policies have declined significantly, and their focus has changed from family to fees."

"This place is wonderful! I started my son here in the toddler room and have loved all the teachers he’s had so far. They will hold him if he has a hard time at drop off, or distract him with play. I have had to adjust my schedule a few times and the director is always very helpful and accomodating when they are able. It gives me such peace of mind knowing how much fun he has and how well he is cared for here. We were at a different daycare before this, and removed him after less than 3 months there. This place is leaps and bounds above our other daycare experiences."

"I used to work here. Worst experience ever i have been a teacher for 10 years. I have never felt more unwelcome at one job in my life, the toddler teachers were to clicky an one in particular was very rude to children an myself. She would grab a child by the arm an pull them accross the room. When trying to confront a situation about another problem i was told i am a gossiper an also a very angry person. Um excuses me all said is that the so called co teacher will not do changes. That turns into me getting told i gossip wow really. Please be careful for your toddlers in this place. If it were possible to no stars i would. Based on my experience within that class."

"The daycare worker in the baby room was never on time in the morning, causing me to have to search the building to find another caregiver or be late for work. They would consistently forget to inform me I was low on, or out of, supplies (breast milk, diapers, formula ect) causing me to make a mad dash to the store/home in the morning. All of the workers park directly in front of the drop off area, causing no spot availability for patrons who are dropping off or picking up their kids. Multiple times my child was sent home with a bottle that was not theirs even though they are all clearly marked. They cost considerably more than other daycares in the area. The administrator is extremely unorganized and takes days to reply to emails. No one will answer the phone when you call...ever...regardless of the day or time. They are more concerned about their state accreditation than they are of the health of the children - they will take a newborn outdoors 2x/day in 30 degrees"
