"I'm greatfull for this program Wich has really help me in time of need when I became disabled... Thank God for this programs... Unfortunately I hear from people that paperwork here gets lost a lot in this office.. I received a letter saying I never turned in my recertification paperwork and that I needed to pay full amount of rent on my own, but I did dropped it of to their office just to make sure it wouldn't get lost in the mail. Now I believe what I hear that paperwork gets lost in this office a lot. Even when I hear they have cameras. I will keep you posted if they give me a resolution."

"Mixed experiences with these folks. When I went in to drop off my application for the Resitar(which I recommend doing as mail gets lost and some people don't care about their work), the lady was pretty kind and helpful, as well as giving me useful info I didn't know I needed. However, I never received my confirmation letter, and after calling the waiting list call center to make sure I was on it, the lady was EXTREMELY RUDE. I understand that life is hard for everyone and people have bad days, but if you can't act professional or treat people decent when YOU are having problems - don't work in a customer service, or any kind of service job. The entire conversation I remained polite and even gave brief explanations and apologized(for asking questions) when she would respond with an irritated, smart comment. Also, when I asked if they could send me a copy of the confirmation letter that they never sent, she replied "Really?". Then, when I said yes and explained that if I had it I wouldn't need to call again to verify or if I forget (to insinuate that it seems she doesn't like having to talk to people, so if you send it I won't bother you again) she actually chuckled, as if I were asking her some ridiculous request, then told me I'd have to write a letter requesting such, and sign it, and said that I should send it certified mail. The cert mail I think is a good idea (for proof) but can't help but think that she could have simply sent one out or requested one be sent from my phone request, but since she seemed very annoyed by me, wanted to make it difficult. Misery loves company."

"Housing Authorities need to investigate all applicants. I have some neighbors who have the program and they are 6 adults living in a 3 bedroom home..all they do is party every weekend, and get drunk and high. I wonder, how is it possible 6 adults can't handle regular rent with out housings help? There are other people who really needs it and are single parents.and these lazy ones are taking advantage just because housing is not investigating. Please investigate all after they have the program."
