"CTL management has zero respect for former tenants, they treat you like a $ sign, not a person. Once you finally decide to move, they will squeeze every penny out of you. I lived in the Stanford heights apartment for just under 2 years. When it came time to move out and perform the end of lease inspection, they added on all sorts of fees. In this process, they charged us well over our initial deposit we agreed upon in case of any “unnatural wear and tear” ( They charged us over $500 for a simple carpet shampoo, something that should be free for tenants over a year, also something I could of had done professionally for less than $60) They even sent us a nice “Collections” letter almost a month later in the mail notifying we owed hundreds of dollars even after they sucked our deposit dry. No call, no email, nothing. We were good tenants, left everything in great condition, had respect for the property, neighbors, and followed the rules. We feel we were mistreated by CTL management and I know this is not how you treat your customers/tenants. This is not how property management should act. What comes around goes around. TLDR: Money pinching management."

"My favorite thing here is that the apartments, bedrooms & closets are very large at a very reasonable price; you get more space for the money than most I looked at. Neighbors are very nice. Lot's of tall trees make the grounds very scenic and provide shade in the summer. Management is tough but fair, they'll work with you as much as they can one resolving problems, we've had a great relationship. Pool & gym are nice, I appreciate that they spent the extra money on really nice gym equipment. There's a great park 1 block away, both my dog and grand kids love it. Grocery stores & shopping are also 1 block away so you don't really need a car to live here. Stanford Heights is definitely the best place in Rocklin."

"Good things: This apartment complex is beautiful, well run and well maintained. The staff is friendly, helpful, and prompt with responses to problems. This complex is quiet, in a great neighborhood and close to top schools. We are close to restaurants and grocery stores. It is easy to get to the freeway for us commuters. I love living here. Bad things: There is a terrible, terrible roach problem. They are everywhere and out of control. Maintenance is prompt, but not good. I have had the same problem with my washing machine for four years and it still doesn't work right. I have given up trying to get it fixed. My refrigerator went out and they promptly brought me a different one. This one leaks water all over the place so I have to constantly clean it. Overall this is a great place to live. There are some bad issues, but they could be resolved easily."

"My family of 4 moved here from Fresno last July 17’ and have really enjoyed living here. It’s such a great community. The staff is on top of things. When I request/service is needed in the apartment the maintenance crew is on it right away. Not that we need them all time either. Because everything works well. This place has beautiful landscapes and quite neighbors. I love how close it is to the park and elementary school and walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. It’s a great place for families. 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms. Nice options and layouts. We love it here!!!"
