Rocklin Park Hotel

"During our stay, our key cards to our room stopped working three times in two days. We had to go to the front desk each time to have them re-key the cards. The floors are hardwood, which I’d expected to be clean, yet after 10 minutes of unpacking with no shoes on, my socks were practically black from the dirt in the floor. The pool & spa were “closed for maintenance,” which would have been good to know BEFORE choosing this place in my search of pool & hot tub included hotels. I decided to take a hot bath instead and was greeted with hair in the bathtub, and a stained shower curtain with no liner - the floor was flooded after every shower. The shower head was more like a hose. We called the front desk for some more towels, and no one came with them after an hour. By then, we’d left and came back. Still no towels. We went up front to ask for them, and the lady said “Good luck!” before presenting “the last two towels.” There was no microwave in the “Deluxe King” room, which was a huge disappointment. I could go on about the poor and unprofessional demeanor of the staff that I encountered, but I’ll end this here. I truly wish I would have gotten a refund and stayed somewhere else."

"I have had an excellent experience at the Rocklin Park Hotel And I will definitely stay here again once I return to the area. I highly recommend this place! Not only is the staff friendly, professional, and very helpful the entire place is amazing especially for the price. Hardwood floors are better for people that may have allergies and as far as cleanliness is concerned overall I believe it's better to have this type of flooring. There are balcony and patio rooms available and even jacuzzi suites with fireplaces. A very nice event center and multiple conference rooms as well as a pool and hot tub... Breakfast is also included with your stay! I have now been a guest numerous times and I will continue to do so. Plus they have discounted rates for AAA members and more!"

"Stayed here for two nights and had a lovely experience. When I asked for anything, the staff was prompt and courteous. Location was amazing, and the facility was vast and beautiful. The room was very nice and modern. Since I inquired for breakfast in the morning, they provided me with a nice spread. Jacuzzi was a huge plus!"

"Freezing pool, cold hot tub, rough service and 10 minute wait for hot water in the room. I called to inform if late check in... I got there, had to track down the lady at the front desk who then asked if I was checking out. I said no, checking in and she proceeded to cuss and tell me she just finished the night audit and gave my room away that I'd paid for. She did get me another room but only after asking if I was checking out again, two more times. Out of the 3 front desk people I dealt with, the two ladies seemed to be in horrible moods, the night guy was the friendliest. He actually smiled and was kind. Our shower, for the second day, took 10 minutes waiting for the water to get hot but only got to a light like warm. The shower was quick, needless to say. We tried the pool which was like jumping into Oregon's Blue Pool which is at a temp of 33 degrees. So we tried the hot tub which was seriously at, maybe, 83. Sitting in there we kept our arms on the cement to feel any warmth at all. Breakfast, for such an appearance of a move place, only had bread items. No eggs, at the least. The best thing about this hotel is the coffee maker which serves Starbucks and actually tastes really good. The outside is cute and inside is nice but definitely needs some attention when looking deeper."
