"The nature center and parking area is very nice, but once you get out on the trails, some of them are a different story. Some are nicely mulched. Quite a few were close, I would think to let the grass get reestablished for the summer and very understandable. However, the trails that were open are very uneven, logs have been laid to probably keep you out of the mud, which is great, but the spacing is terrible and you could easily twist or break an ankle. I will go back once it's warm to see if they are still there. A few more trail maps on the trails giving directions or just a little more detail would be helpful. I know you can download a map to your phone, but I have a hard time seeing my phone in the sun, much less read tiny printing. Enjoyed seeing all maple syrup collection containers out. There is a lot to recommend this place if there could be a few changes to help you enjoy it."

"A beautiful preserve with nice wide trails and lots of wildlife. Plenty of parking and restrooms at the entrance. Theres also a unique playground with Hobbit holes nearby. Entry is free, though they do accept donations. There are quite a few trails here that twist and turn, and some that intersect. You'll find an incredible variety of birds and plants, and also turtles, frogs, deer, butterflies, and bunnies. The bugs weren't too bad for an area like this, which was pleasantly surprising. There are fruits and berries growing wild here, too, though most weren't ready to consume. The turtle pond was very relaxing, and we had a couple turtles pop up to say hi. The birdsongs were wonderful, as well. There are several viewing towers here and boardwalks/bridges. Some of them are in desperate need of repair. Well worth the visit! We'll be back again someday, I'm sure. There are numerous Pokestops and gyms here."

"Solid trail system with plenty of spots to explore. Frog pond, wooden towers, bridges, cross country skiing in the winter, and a nice lodge for events. Also close by is a nature center along with some outdoor workout equipment. Not too crowded during our hike."

"Big parking lot for parking. No wait to enter and no line. Free entrance although there are donation boxes that I saw on one of the trails. Very nice nature preserve with nice trails and playground park for kids. Went around 6pm during the golden hours for senior pictures and it wasn’t too busy. It’s a great place for family photos or any kind of photography. Highly recommend it. We didn’t walk on too many of the trails but some that we did were very nice. *warning-bring bugs spray because we were attacked by tons of mosquitoes and a mom with her kids were leaving and she offered us her bugs spray since she knew we’d be out there for awhile. She was so kind and it definitely saves us from getting eaten alive. So thankful for her."
