"I just hit 1year living here. Its inexpensive and nice. Manager, owner and maintenance are all very nice. Toilet broke and I got a new one within a few days. My oven was old and off by 100degrees and new one was installed 2days later. The adults that live here are nice and respectful. Im very happy here and plan on staying until I've saved a down to buy a house."

"Manager and Owner of complex both really nice and fair. The complex certainly does not smell of animals and feces like one reviewer suggested."

"We have lived here for 3 years. Never caused any problems, never late on rent and even was the resident manager for 1.5 years. This place is run by a slum lord. Getting things fixed is near impossible to get done in a reasonable amount of time. I even got my ac/heating unit replaced after it died, "Because I have a child"(quoted by the manager and owner). This took weeks to get done while my house dropped below 40 degrees at night. So if I didn't have a child, we would have to just deal with it? The building is from the 70's so stuff NEEDS to be fixed. Plus don't discount illegal favoritism. The owner allows people to pay portions of rent because, "he has a soft spot for single women." So why is it, because the single female can't pay her rent, she gets a break, but everyone else that works or has a family gets notices? While I was managing the place, the back part of the complex went out of hot water because the water heating unit failed. The owner kept putting it off and was more worried about leaves on the ground. "KEEP UP APPEARANCES" He says. What about fixing stuff so your tenants are happy and stay living here? paying you rent? The laundry is disgusting most of the time. There's been constant instances where myself or my wife has had to clean out sand, animal feces, pubic hair and even an ink pen blown up in the drier. They never get taken care of. Theft has become a huge problem here, we have to take our license plate off our car now because they've been stolen off our car 2 times now. There are more than 15 stray cats that spray and damage the paint on vehicles. They hop up on the hoods of cars and scratch the heck out of it. This has been a constant issue since before we moved here, but gotten worse over the past 6 months. The owner says, "there is nothing we can do about the cats, and we are not responsible for the damage they cause" Bums rummage through the dumpster at all hours of the night, and parking is completely unregulated which fills up with non-residents faster than our own. There's drug deals going on in the back parking lot, very obvious about it too. The complex smells of animal urine/feces and cat spray. This complex used to be quiet, but now it's constantly loud in the back of the complex, with fights happening, but nothing is done. These issues have been brought to the OWNER'S attention because the manager doesn't take care of anything, but collect money cleaning move-out apartments. We bring all of this to the owner's attention, and after 3 years of never causing one issue and paying rent on time, we get a 30 day notice. I would say if you plan on living in Ramona, DO NOT LIVE HERE, you will hate it and be wasting your time if you say anything. They just kick you out and move someone else in. And raise the rent every time they do it. I saw it happen as the manager, and now im experiencing it as a tenant. I'd rather move to A st which is crime filled than live here again."
