"Under new management that isn't honest when doing business. Pro tip to the new management, don't advertise a unit for a certain amount and then say all you have is a unit double the price. Also, showing up late to your own office and not showing up at all is extremely unprofessional and LAZY. Update 02/22/2024: Responding to Management's response. That is a clear lie, as when we spoke to the Manager on site after three days of her not showing up to her office, it was made clear that it was a tactic used to get potential renters to WASTE their time on coming to your location just to have one bedrooms for $3400 shown. Not only that but you had absolutely no one able to show up in three days to a property you were actively trying to rent out, interesting. Not to mention the fact that when asked about the property the Manager was more concerned with whatever social media platform she was checking instead of answering valid questions regarding the property. Next time you attempt to rent a property I suggest not lying to applicants or having them wait outside of your office 3+ hours all while sitting in your office and seeing them wait."

"I love our little Kensington community! Angela, the property manager, is amazing. She has been accommodating to our every request and need. The community is well maintained and quiet (except our cute little Yorkie) and the people are so friendly. Being so close to the parks, trails, grocery store, CVS and a couple of places to eat makes it just about perfect. We love the Kensington!"

"I came from South Korea earlier this year (2020) and lived here for almost a year. In conclusion, living in Kensington was very satisfying. It's a safe and quiet neighborhood with good traffic. Staffs of the leasing office are very kind, but they are very competent and thoughtful. I'm sorry that I have to leave Kensington because I have to go back to my hometown, South Korea. I would gladly recommend this place!"

"I have been a resident of the Kensington apartments for one and a half years. I'm moving to Southern California in two weeks, so my apartment will be on the market soon. Hopefully,​ this review will be helpful for potential residents. The thing I will miss above all is the exceptional landscape on the premises. Living in Pleasanton, you quickly get accustomed to the straw-colored hills of the East Bay. The Kensington feels like an oasis in the desert: roses and green grass year-round, blooming sakura and magnolias in spring and crape myrtles in summer. Another thing that can't be missed about the apartments is the proximity to almost everything - Bernal Park, Safeway, a few dining options, walking (or rather biking) distance to elementary and middle schools, easy access to the 680 highway. There are also a few negative things, but they just slightly influence my experience. Firstly, it's the noise. I always know when my upstairs neighbors are at home and I always feel sorry when I run into the downstairs neighbor. If you have kids and can choose on which floor to live, I would definitely recommend the first floor. Because of the beautiful landscape you can constantly hear the gardeners working. And you may also hear the noise from the traffic on the highway. Secondly, I see a lot of children on the playground without adult supervision. The children leave trash on the playground, which is really sad. The management and maintenance team works great. I always feel welcome and cared about in the leasing office. During my stay, I have seen a lot of renovations: exterior painting of the buildings, a completely new playground, and pool reconstruction. All my friends who visited me say that the Kensington is the most beautiful apartment complex they've seen in the Tri-Valley."
