"It took ~9 months for me to receive a bill from my first visit and it was surprisingly high since I asked how much my visit would cost when I first arrived at my first appointment and was told nothing but I'd receive a bill. After I first appointment, I hadn't received a bill and I had a follow up 6 months later so I went and I spent more time in the waiting room than in my appointment because my appointment was simple. Then ~2 months later I received a bill for both visits that was hundreds of dollars more than expected. The office submitted information to my insurance under the wrong business name because Dr. Nguyen has 3 businesses, only 1 of which is in-network for me. I went to the in-network location but Dr. Nguyen's office submitted the claim under one of his other businesses. I argued with the office rep to submit the claim again after I spoke with my insurance company. Why did it take ~9 months to receive a bill? Feels like I was taken advantage of so I'd return for the unnecessary 6 month follow up."
