"Run by a great team, this is the only way to experience marine life up close in the Bay area. The team is kind, knowledgeable, and provide you with a very personalized experience with a maximum of 6 people per tour. I should also advise those interested in this tour - IT GETS COLD, and there is no way around it. The seats begin to feel a bit uncomfortable after about a couple hours. Don’t sit in the front row without a pair of ski-like glasses else it will take away from the fun of it. Hope to do this again in the summer for an experience more crowded with whales!"

"The Fast Raft whale watching tour was just a magical and awe inspiring experience. It was everything we wanted and more! We always knew we wanted to go on a smaller boat since it would likely result in a more intimate experience, and we were willing to sacrifice comfort for that. But in the end, it was a very comfortable 3 hr expedition on the Fast Raft boat, so I literally cannot think of a reason why you would not choose to book with them if you are thinking to go whale watching in Monterey. We saw many groups of and individual humpback whales, and got to witness their feeding behaviour working together with sea lions and sea birds such as pelicans. We also were lucky to have a group of curious humpbacks come up to the boat to check it out, peeking out not even a metre away from the boat. If you have a chance to visit Monterey & are remotely into wildlife, booking this is a MUST!!"

"An incredible day with an incredible crew. Only being in Monterey for one year, I already did one of the bigger boats and it was a nice experience. That being said, it was nothing compared to the fast raft experience. You are so low, by the water, surrounded by sea lions, birds--that you feel you are a part of the wildlife experience! And of course... whales! So many whales! Don and Kate were the best crew! They know everything about these beautiful animals and they love sharing that knowledge with you. I was so impressed by their passion, considering they do this every day. Couldn't recommend Fast Raft enough!"
