"Went in despite reading the other reviews, unfortunately they are spot on. They quoted a different price on the phone call despite me asking twice, and charged me much more after I received treatment. Then sent me another bill on top of that for a service I'd already paid for. Terrible service, please avoid."

"They directly billed me when I visited (even though I have insurance and asked them to bill my insurance), and forced me to pay. Then the very next day they sent me another bill for the visit. Now, I'm wasting my time calling the billing department, and filing a claim with my insurance company. Reading the reviews here, it appears that it's done intentionally to make you pay multiple times (once at the clinic, once by sending you a bill) for the consult. If so, this is total fraud. Go elsewhere for your travel consult."

"Their game is to have you pay, which is required in advance and then bill you again as unpaid in hopes you give up and pay twice. If some one did this selling say a washer and dryer it would be called fraud. And it would get resolved on the phone not behind some opaque process."

"I had a very wonderful experience here with a PA Sandra Elizabeth Valle. She was through, kind, incredibly knowledgeable and had a most excellent bedside manner. Wonderful with adults and children. Go for PA Valle."

"Stanford Health Care scheduling system is disorganized. When I called Stanford Los Altos clinic for getting travel vaccinations, I was told and misled to make appointment with my PCP to get consultation first. Make sense, so I did it. During my visit, they then told me to go to travel clinic directly for consultation. I wasn't happy about this because I wasted time on it. Worse, travel clinic was fully booked by then and the next available appointment was several weeks out and won't make it for my travel. The scheduler at travel clinic was not helpful at all and kept asking me go to other non-Stanford clinics and didn't offer any other options. I would expect Stanford Health Care to do better than this."
