"If i could give zero stars I would. Do not ever come here or let your loved ones come here. After police finally helped me locate my missing family member, that even her living complex was searching for, I was told she was here. After being treated rudely by both operators, the female security guard, a man named "Amil", the nurse Hannah, and many others I had a panic attack and all security guards except Michael just watched. Nobody is safe here as a patient or as a visitor. This place should be shut down. Do not be surprised if they all hang up on you as well and refuse to help in any form. Hospitals should be safe and caring, not cold and aggressive. Do better, for the sake of the community. Treat peoole how you want to be treated."

"My mom had outpatient surgery there on 02/15/2024, From the beginning to the end it was a very comforting and great experience. The pre-op nurse, aftercare nurse were amazing and friendly. My mother does not speak English, they were so nice tried their best to comfort her. This was her first surgery at 78 years old. Amazing nurses, Thank you for your kindness!!!!"

"Los Alamitos surgery Center is very dangerous! I’m riding this review because the nurse Mariam asked me to. She said she needed help! You take your life in your own hands if you come to the surgery center! From the moment I arrived at the surgery center. They had the wrong information on their paperwork for my surgery, and did not know that I was going to need to spend the night for observation. My tonsillectomy was extremely painful. About 4 hours after the surgery they gave me Jell-O, cranberry juice, and red popsicle. Unfortunately, the charge nurse came in a few hours later, and said that I was not to drink anything RED because they were keeping me overnight for observation to monitor any bleeding. She told me the nurses clearly were wrong. NEXT, They did not know what medication to give me. They called my doctor, and four hours later they found out what I was supposed to take for pain! The nurse admitted that the hospital had no specific protocol for surgeries only the orders from the doctor. If they didn’t get an order, they had no plan! The nurse and the charge nurse admitted that they were not prepared any surgery, in particular they relied on the Doctor, instructing them every single little thing, they had no knowledge of their own and absolutely no common sense. They had no idea what to feed me for day two. I had to call my daughters to bring food to the hospital."

"I visited the Los Alamitos Medical Center ER late last night for a dog bite from a dog we are fostering. I received excellent care. Even though there were a fair number of people in the waiting room, I was seen in a timely manner. Everyone was very kind and responsive. The physician was exceptional. He listened to my questions, explained everything, and was very thorough. This was my first experience with this Medical Center, and I am happy to know that there is an ER of this caliber near my new home."

"I'm not sure what happened to this place. Our family has been going here for our entire lives and up until this year everyone was professional and courteous. The wait times to be seen in the ER or a specialist were reasonable. Now, everything has changes, and not for the better. In December my mother was admitted and had a feeding tube installed. This required her to be on a certain liquid diet that we were told was going to be needed for her going forward. We were not told what this liquid diet was only that it was "similar to Ensure" by the Dietician on staff. We were told we would be given more information on where to purchase the items for her to continue living. She was then discharged without any of this information and sent home without any way to feed herself. We had to figure this out via online forums. As my mother was without solid food for more than a week, she was very weak. So far no one from the hospital have called 48 hours after discharge with any information. We've had to do this by ourselves, and all calls to the hospital have gone unanswered. We will not be going there again."
