"I want to express my deep gratitude to Dr. Edward Y Kan and the staff of this hospital. I was admitted early in the morning with acute pain, it turned out to be a kidney stone. I was quickly provided with medical assistance, the acute pain was relieved, and treatment was prescribed. I want to emphasize professionalism and caring attitude towards patients. I was there for a long time for examination and treatment, and in relation to myself and other patients I observed only positivity and professionalism. Very friendly people work there. "I don’t recommend this hospital at all. Specifically the ER. I was having severe pain, migraine & body aches from Covid. I decided to go to the ER to get help and after registration (the girl working registration was nice) I waited my turn for triage. The lady working triage was a miserable person and rude. She took my vitals and due to my severe pain I was running high BP. Instead of helping and understanding why my vitals were high, I was sent outside to wait. I waited another hour and was called for triage again. She told me “sorry, we can’t take you back until your BP comes down. I have never been neglected care at a hospital in my life & never made it past the registration/triage area. Pathetic. Stay away as clearly people go here to die. Never again, you’ve been warned."

"I really have to give kudos when it’s due! The staff here are amazing. I had two ER visits in two weeks and both times were efficient. From the nice young lady that checked me in at the first window both times.. to the nurses, specifically Morgan and the sweet red head (i can’t remember her name), AJ on the transport team, and Dr. Estrada.. I thank you & you’re appreciated!"

"My Doctor is at Sutter but delivers at Stanford because it is the closest delivery hospital. I had a great delivery experience at Stanford Health Care. All the staff and nurses really took care of us and made sure we had what we needed. They were all very genuine. The birthing suites are large and recovery a little small, but overall we were comfortable and had a hotel like experience. Also, the food menu for post delivery, had a ton of great options."

"We had an awesome experience here. A close family member of mine had to go to the ER for chest pain, so we rushed them in. The ER staff quickly took a look at them and quickly prioritized their case. It was then determined they had to be admitted to the hospital. We found out later the chest pain was from a minor heart attack. Very quickly the hospital arranged for a cardiologist to do a coronary angiogram, which went very well (with two stents placed jn a blocked artery). After my family member was discharged, we got concerned about swelling a few hours later and went back to the ER (and also called the hospital unit that had taken care of us). While we were waiting in the lobby our cardiologist came to see us and give us the okay that the swelling is nothing to be concerned about and will go down. Very happy with the efficiency, customer service, and kindness of the staff here. Folks that go here are in good hands!"
