"Great place to hike camp or just got for a walk hang out for a bit beautiful place"
"It's quiet and peaceful. But needs to be cleaned up more after the floods. It's got some nice big oak trees. Bathroom are clean picnic tables need some attention as well as the grass and weeds."
"They need to hire people to take tickets from guests instead of leaving it up to the lazy rent a cop who rushes after you as you leave with no flashing lights, no horn, no hey stop. He just rides your tail until a certain point then he backs off. For 45 minutes I walked the grounds and in that time all he did was keep on the corner of the complex with the guy on a tractor. Then when I was done he rushes at me in his truck acting like I did something but never spoke or anything. Gives you a bad feeling about the place."
"This park is at the junction of the Merced and the San Joaquin rivers. People fish and children swim in them. The large open space camping area works great for extended family gatherings. Big, old oak canopy shades much of the grassy area. Mosquitoes."
