Hilton Garden Inn Pomona

"Istayed at this hotel for a few months. The hotel overall looks new; however, there were several things that could be improved. The food at the restaurant-bar is not the best, and throughout my stay, there were several dishes they claimed they didn’t have. Additionally, they raised prices and reduced portion sizes. Also, throughout my stay, they kept telling me they would fix the dryer, which, to date, has not been repaired. Regarding the service, I have to commend Andrea and Cesar for their excellent service and kindness, always seeking to help and make my stay at this hotel more enjoyable. However, I cannot say the same for everyone at the front desk, as several showed a lack of customer service. For example, once I ordered a burger without pickles, but they added them. I went to the front desk to address the situation and they didn’t help me with the situation"

"I stayed here for 3 separate week for business. I chose this location based on the proximity to my customer, and also, the reviews of other Hilton's in the area were not so good. The staff was pretty friendly and the rooms were clean. All 3 of the rooms I stayed in were very dark and it seemed like I was in a cave. The toilet paper holder in the first room was sitting on the floor when I got there, and the little metal safety latch on the door was hanging by one screw, which made it useless. The second room I stayed it, the shower door would not stay closed, so I had to stuff a rag between the 2 sliding doors to keep it shut. I usually ask for a bottle of water in the morning, and half of the time they did not have any. Also, at breakfast, when I ordered sausage, they didn't have that, and offered "vegan turkey sausage" (?). I went to the fitness room to use that, and the water machine in there was broke, and I noticed that the dryer in the laundry room had and "out-of-order" sign on it. My impression is that the owners do not have a clue regarding "property management" and guest services. They seem to be skimping on the small things. Not a Hilton in my mind."

"When my husband and I first got to this hotel back in October we were greeted by an amazing young gentleman and he helped us with everything we needed. Later in the morning, my husband left for work and we were greeted by a woman who was named Monica. She wasn't very pleasant at all. I'm a happy morning girl who wakes up with a smile on my face and I'm not saying you have to be like that but your job is to greet guests with kindness .. and she wasn't kind at all. The only person we really truly appreciated was the Bartender Grace and the Chef on nights Dave. They both made our stay so worth it. Otherwise I'd have to say this hotel wasn't all it was cracked up to be. They need better managers in this hotel to make the place more inviting and guest friendly. We stayed for a month and I saw the hotel more then my husband did! The dryer in the guest laundry facility never worked and it took me well over 4 times or so to get my husband's work clothes dry. Not sure I'll be staying at this location again. We've been back since then and the bar atmosphere and the food isn't good at all. We tried letting a lady know .. I believe her name was Brandy. The amount of times they have you waiting is terrible and your food isn't cooked all the way. This time we were greeted by a gentleman named Anthony and he acted as if he was a prison guard. Turned off by this hotel. Please bring the people back who made this establishment worth coming too!!!"

"Room had several stains on walls and carpet but bed was clean and comfy. Air worked well and the shower is amazing. Slightly concerned when I checked in, I only gave a name and she all but threw a room key at me. No ID required and went back to her cell phone. The gentleman in the morning was much more professional and very nice."

"Andrea Trujillo gives a very good customer service when you’re having questions about reservations, benefits, amenities, overall she shows and demonstrate a 100% of her skills on what she do for work to every resident of this hotel no matter what. She is always on the mood to help everyone that stop by the front desk and that’s amazing so it gives you a good feeling staying here."
