"I tried LyLy today and I have to say I was taken back. Kim was my technician. She made me feel super uncomfortable and made me feel silly for wanting shorter dip nails. The hot acetone was way too hot and she kept telling me to keep my fingers in it. I've never had to soak off this way. While she was filing she kept stinging me as she rubbed against my cuticles. When I pulled back she said, oh it's okay. I asked her to be a little more gentle...it was so strange. The edges of my nails were not done and I could see my real nail around the sides. When I pointed it out, I felt she was annoyed with me. I'd say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a salon. Kim made me feel rushed and not welcome. I was going to get a pedicure but couldn't get out of there fast enough. No way was I going to stay for that. Needless to say I will never, never ever go back. I do not recommend Kim, but the other technicians seemed to treat their patients with respect."

"Picked a salon on the fly for this one- as I am traveling for work. I had high hopes because the people were very kind and even invited me in earlier than my original (last min) appointment. I do dip on my nails and had dip on when I arrived. This is the first salon I’ve ever had gave me soak my nails in HOT acetone. Typically it’s just my fingers wrapped in foil with acetone on cotton. I wouldn’t have minded the different method had it worked. My fingers are stained with the previous black color I had on. I also noticed one of my fingers is stained with the new green color. I won’t be able to get that off until I get home (hopefully). On one hand I can see quite a bit of missed dip coat on the edges. Not sure how the finished look was so sloppy. I gave 3 stars because the people working were very kind and I appreciate their time. Not very happy with my nails right now, or my stained fingers. :/"

"Had such a GREAT first experience at LyLy’s! They are the first salon I’ve found that offers chrome powder. I was SO excited! I wasn’t sure what shade I wanted, but Samantha was patient and offered her opinion and they turned out amazing. Perfect for summer! The staff were friendly, everything was very clean, and I even had a few laughs with Samantha. I highly recommend and can’t wait to go back! :)"
