"First of all the person at the front desk, (presumably the property owner or manager) took one look at my tattoos and said they have no vacancies. “Vacancy” neon lit in the dirty window and all. There were rooms clearly available, rooms with curtains open at 8pm, called afterward and asked, they did. I’m traveling for work, no pets, no kids. Judged. As for the property filthy, clothes hanging along the walkways, garbage littered in the tiny parking lot."
"All the good reviews must be fake on here. This motel is not remotely nice or clean. The room I say in had roaches and there was no hot water. When I complained about the hot water, I was told to wait an hour to shower cause the water heater is small. Seriously worst place to stay. Don't stay here."
"Room smelled like somebody smoked in there and the blanket smelled like that as well. Towels smelled washed, but should be switched because they had stains on them. People were noisy in the parking spot. Owner was very friendly though! Wifi- connection was really slow."
"I checked into this motel a little after 9pm on a Thursday night. After ringing the front doorbell I was greeted by a nice older gentleman who checked me and my brother in. Upon entering our room with 2 beds we noticed a roach box next to the TV. I used the toilet and when I flushed the chain fell off of the set up inside the toilet tank. I had to stick my hand into the water of the tank and reconnect the chain ao that it would flush again. I then went back into the room and as I was getting ready for sleep I saw a roach on the wall above my head board. After killing it and pulling the sheets back I was able to get some sleep. Not a horrible stay but would've preferred a non smoked in room, no roaches and a working toilet."
"Cozy, clean, great price. The Los Banos Hotel, under new management, was a clean and inviting place for me during a rather difficult time. Upon moving to this town in Jun of 2009 for work I had no place to live and was trying to buy my own home. With limited funds I ended up at this hotel and was not only given a great deal on the room but the staff went out of their way to make my stay better. Clean room and bed that was cleaned meticulously every day while I was working. Nothing beats getting off work and having a fresh and clean room to come to. I would highly recommend this place to the weekend traveler or people looking for a longer stay."
