"Heavy old cigarette smell in the room. Older motel. Tiny bathroom, toilet too close to the door,nice private patio, walking distance to wharf,boardwalk and beaches."

"I took my 4 grandkids to Santa Cruz every summer and this was the first time we stayed at Edgewater Beach Inn & Suite. Daniel (the manager) was the nicest person I've ever come across in my hotel stays. When the kids were swimming he brought them out towels to the pool. This place was very homey. We used the BBQ area, the pool, and the location was a quick walk down the parking lot to the beach! The entire staff were friendly and kind. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that the mattresses on our beds were a little too soft. Outside of that all was great. On our last day there Daniel even let us keep our vehicle parked on site until we left for home. Thanks for a great time."

"Was an amazing experience Daniel went out his way to make sure our anniversary trip was memorable! Even had flowers and chilled wine waiting for us upon our arrival . Also told us about all the great spots near by . Besides the awesome staff the location couldn’t be better so close to the wharf and boardwalk!! We will definitely be back soon !"

"From the moment we arrived, the manager was kind, happy, and helpful. The location is fantastic, walking distance to the boardwalk and the wharf. Room had a great view, felt spacious and had a bath. This location is dog-friendly and very willing to accommodate our four-legged friends. The manager is also very easy to contact if you have any issues. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we were glad we chose this place for our vacation."
