Regal Edwards San Marcos

"Took my kids to see a movie at the San Marcos Regal, brought back good memories from high school. They build this movie theater when I was a teen. Had a few friends who worked there and I would go watch movies all the time. We use to ditch school and go watch movies all day. I've probably seen ever movie that came out between 1998 and 2000. My kids liked the stadium seating. Wasn't very busy, but that's how I like it. Nice and quiet."

"I've been coming to the regal theater in San Marcos for a few years now when there are special event movies. This is probably one of the largest regal theaters I have ever been to. They really have A LOT of theaters inside of this complex. It is very spacious inside, and one can easily get lost while trying to find their movie. They usually have most of the mainstream movies as they come out, and they also feature smaller indie films, or anime movies, which are not typically in other theaters. Although I can see that the theater needs a little maintenance, overall everything is quite standard and clean. I also appreciate that they keep their bathrooms clean as well. The only gripe that I have, is that in the movies that I have gone to see, I have not experienced any recliner seating options, but at least the seats are comfortable and clean. Perhaps I'm not going to the right movies to experience this. But otherwise, the customer service is great, and the prices are pretty decent for today's movies. I definitely love coming here for the large film variety."

"It is an old theater…but, it was clean & well managed. Parking was decent. Huge lot but it was pretty full. We got lucky and found a spot right away. Only got popcorn to snack on. It was ok. I’m sure for the price it should have been better but it still got eaten. All in all, we watched a movie as a family and it was a nice time!"

"Great movie theater. Well-lit parking lot at night that made me feel safe, cheap ticket prices on Tuesdays, the movie sound and screen were very clear. Friendly employees, too. The only thing is that the women's restroom is filty; tons of clogged toilets."

"Well, what can I say about this here theater. The lines are long, the staff is not super friendly, and the prices are outrageous. But one thing I really want to focus on is the men's room without a door on the stall! What in the actual heck is that all about?! I had been holding my bladder during the 3+ hours long Oppenheimer (lovely movie, btw) and when I finally made it to the restroom I found a single stall with no door on it! I would have just used the urinals like a normal dude except even though they were mounted to a wall with plenty of space, they decided to put them right next to each other. So then I'd risk urinating whilst rubbing shoulders with some strange dude! On top of all that, it seems they could only afford one new hand dryer instead of two, possibly because they doubled up on soap dispensers at one sink. Idk who's in charge of bathroom design at this facility but maybe they should go back to bathroom school. Anyway, the rest of the theater is fine."
