"Hummingbird House was the most amazing setting for our small intimate wedding.. perfect for our guests and relatives to be able to share and stay at this exquisite and comfortable Victorian Airbnb …. Easy keyless entry, great communication about our stay and pastries in the morning was delightful. We were honored to be able to be the first wedding held there. Kate handled everything with ease and it surpassed our expectations. Hoping that more people will get to experience this jewel in Red Bluff. The owners, Doc and Susan are so kind and generous and made our wedding so memorable. Thank you for everything!"

"The Hummingbird House in Red Bluff is an amazing place to stay. Kate was beyond amazing as our host. Red Bluff is where I grew up and I had not been back to visit in over 10 years. I came back home to visit and celebrate with my sister for her birthday and this place exceeded our expeditions. I will always stay at the Hummingbird House for now on when I come to Red Bluff. The accommodations at the Hummingbird House were a 10 out of 10!"

"Five stars does not do Hummingbird house justice. This down to the bare wood, no-expese-spared restoration shows true dedication to maintaining the highest standards of building preservation. We stayed in the Black-Chinned En Suite which is upstairs with direct access to the balcony which provides views of Mt Lassen and the Sacramento River. Everything about our room was perfection from the plush towels in the bathroom to the comfy bed with soft linens. The decor was beautiful and furnishings first class with wood, glass and ceramic; no cheap plastic anywhere. The bathroom was compact but had a spacious shower with top quality fixtures and a lovely pebble floor. Attention to detail was evident in the vanity which appeared to be custom made to fit the space. Plenty of light and a wall mounted makeup mirror made morning "beautification :-)" pleasant. The Drawing Room common area was again beautifully decorated and exquisitely furnished. Comfy seating allowed us to sit and enjoy some interesting reading about hummingbirds and local history. I mentioned the balcony. This became a favorite place to relax when the weather cooled off in the evening. We sat out there well past dark and then again in the morning where we enjoyed house-provided coffee and lovely fresh pastries from the upscale pastry shop in town. With a location just off Main Street, finding a place for dinner became a choice of cuisine. We decide to go to Kaloca's Mexican Grill where we enjoyed an incredible meal. Everything was freshly made. If you go, be sure to save room for the flan! Altogether a memorable experience."

"Our stay at the Hummingbird was wonderful in every way. The sleeping rooms were comfortable, accommodating and tastefully decorated, each with a different theme. The common area parlor offered a variety of opportunity including reading, board games , puzzles and visiting in a comfortable setting with friends and/or guests with interesting stories from far away places. The out door balconies are both inviting and comfortable making our morning coffee and breakfast goodies experience enjoyable indeed . A five star rating does not do the Hummingbird experience justice., We can hardly wait for our next visit B. Cornelius"
