"Generic candy found at any gas station was extremely marked up. A packet of pop rocks $5 and a tube of sour slime candy was $15. Any gas station would sell these for $4 max. Although the prices are too expensive for a lot of the items, the ice cream is really good. Also the service was lovely."

"$4.99 for 1 truffle - wow. However, I was not disappointed. I got the Creme Brulee truffle. It was good - not the best I've ever had, definitely the most expensive. Great variety of flavors. Gelato variety was good, I didn't taste one."

"Visited 20 July 2022 After dinner we took a walk around the park area and ended up inside of SLO Sweets. If nothing else, the store is very nostalgic. There are an assortment of sweets and drinks from my childhood (I'm an 80s baby). We browsed the store but I didn't find anything that popped out to me that I'd buy. Some of my friends did buy sodas and Gelato but I didn't purchase anything. The waffle cones had some interesting flavours - orange Creamsicle, red velvet, & midnight vanilla, along with pumpkin spice, and regular. However, for the price $10 cone w/ 1 scoop, meh. I initially wanted a gelato cone. I tried the stracciatella Gelato but did not like it. It wasn't terrible but it has a too salty taste. The price did not appease me and the taste certainly turned me off from wanting to try anything else. The store is enticing but overall doesn't seem to be worth it."

"Being from Santa Clarita we don't see much smaller town life let alone a local candy shop. The closest we get is the candy place in the mall...... really neat shop in the middle of downtown Paso. Right across from the town park. The candy selection is ok but the ice cream was really good. Also crossing the street and walking through the park with your cone is the best. My only criticism is the candy prices seem really high but maybe that's the market today. I really enjoyed the experience with my kids and they loved it."
