Crumbl - Menomonee Falls

"Picked up cookies from the Germantown location, the experience was interesting. The customer service was non existent . I had to say hello, I had to ask the questions. It’s odd when you walk into a business and no one says a word. The young man answered my questions with pointing to the menu or one word answers. I ordered a package of 6 cookies asking for one cookie to be separate. He said I have to charge you for the separate cookie, ok???? I found that odd. The cookies are pricy enough then Add extra cost for a separate box. The cookies were good, except the chocolate chunk had a sprinkle of salt on it, The two I purchased were so salty it was almost unbeatable. Way too much salt, you could see it. The other cookies were good, the young man told me the one cookie was a chocolate with cream cheese frosting it was actually red velvet, slightly disappointed but someone will eat it. All in all the cookies were good, the customer service was odd, no thank you, no goodbye just hand me my cookies and off I went ."

"Crumbl Cookies Birthday Cake (Patriotic): I’ve seen Crumbl all over social media and until my first visit in August of 2022 I did not understand the hype (I'm humble enough to admit I can be wrong). Crumbl rotates their flavors on a weekly basis and depending on the flavor some are absolutely amazing. Crumbl's official description for today's cookie is "a cake batter cookie topped with smooth cake batter frosting and patriotic sprinkles." Like most of the other cookies I've had it's thinner at the periphery, but towards the center it's dense, thick, and chewy. The cake batter flavor of the cookie is kind of a gimmick in my opinion. It's simply a sugar cookie. The cake batter frosting (which is the best part) lives up to the cake batter name better than the body of the cookie, but still isn't a bullseye. No surprise, the frosting is creamy and sweet with hints of vanilla and cream cheese. Topping it all off is an armada of red, white, and blue non-pareils. The non-pareils add a nicely contrasting crunch along with the aesthetic appeal. In closing, I wish the cake batter flavor would have been more prevalent, but it's still a delicious gourmet cookie thanks to the texture of the cookie and bountiful frosting.
