"I love Whole Foods (usually) and have bought Thanksgiving turkeys there for the past 20 years. Today my husband picked up our order and the turkey was frozen (ordered fresh). I took it back and they graciously replaced it with a thawed one. The butcher said it was “deep chilled”. It was hard as a rock so if they are selling “deep chilled” turkeys for $1 a pound more (and they are frozen) they should let consumers know that, and also how to quick thaw them as I was told I could have done. I did try to call when I realized the turkey was frozen but was on hold 20 minutes so decided to go to the store."
